[NA LCS] Summer Playoffs Week 1

You know, I figure with all of the negative press they got last season, XDG would actually change their name/brand. It's 100% not the name anyone wanted to see. It has such a negative connotation now. I guess I was wrong. I don't know why anyone would want to keep their name as XDG still, but okay.

Hoping T8 does well because they have been trying to break into LCS for a while. Also maplebro is not bad.

Jokes aside, i don't favour Curse Academy chances at all if Keane is still struggling hard. mancloud could carry them to top-3 ezpz, now i'm not sure at all.

If CLG goes into the match like:" We were in korea and now have to show the whole community and our egos that we stepped up big time" it could end bad. Of course I hope it works fine for CLG to show that the effort was worth it.

CA has such an easy bracket. If XDG were on the other side, I could see a reason to be concerned but LoLPro is falling apart and can't keep a solid roster and Denial is only okay by NACS standards. CA will get 2nd pretty easily, but I don't see them beating Coast or Team 8.

CA lost mancloud for keane but what the fuck is LoLpro anymore, last time I checked it was patoy/loh bot and denial are incredibly middling. Their players aren't bad but I don't see them beating CA. Even if keane turns out to be a trainwreck unless denial wants to go on some UoL style run I don't see CA not getting top 2 with that easy bracket.

I'm excited for the dig-tsm match. At the end i would tend to say that either curse or dig gets 6th place. If these two teams fight each other for the 5th spot it could become pretty big.

As much as I hate to say it, CLG might end up in the battle for 5th place with dig. They started summer split with an aggressive style and making plays, but in the latter half they've settled for "Let's sacrifice top lane and hope bot lane carries us". In particular they've looked lost since the hyper-scaling ADs took over the meta.
