Beeing the top tog of a weak region isnt that big of a deal. I think there will be an answer since alliance isnt the whole region and 3 teams will take part of EU. Of course you always have to see it in relation to the teams they play but we are not politicians who can talk a dead mouse to a beatifull cat.
They would have dominated NA as well.
Their only problem was decisionmaking and Leviathan fixed at least 80% of it. And their mechanics are best on the West.

There are literally 0 assasins but LeBlanc in competitive play right now and even in that case, you almost never see LeBlanc going dfg first instead of athenes/deathcap.

That Zyra is better here than Nami is obvious, because Nami cannot initiate any better than Zyra and Zyra has at least three times the damage of Nami. They could have picked some form of hard engage instead of Zyra, but it seems like they are confident in their ability to flank with Jax/Lee (+lulu ult) as their initiation, so they went for more damage with their supportchoice. Not sure whether to agree with their confidence, but it certainly has a chance to work.

While nami's wave isnt a good engage but it is certainly far better than anything zyra can offer.Zyra does have damage but her low range won't allow her to land it most of the time.She is a squishy and she will just die to all of fnatic's aoe.

Roccat is basically the same. They're losing because other teams caught up to this 'objective-based' meta whilst having individually better players (xpeke, rekkles).
Same thing is happening in NA, the difference being, C9 still has top players.

Personally, I'd only say the xerath game(cw vs roccat). It's nothing new, but it's uncommon enough that it feels good to watch. The game was okay overall, but mostly I just enjoyed that Xerath worked for them.
Alliance game was also decent. Froggen played well with TF. So if you are a fan of TF hopping from one gold card to the next, that's there for you where he does that.

They're not strong laners, and as expected, they struggle in almost every game with standard setup.
And Jesiz can't be as impactful as Chinese midlaners on those Orianna/Lulu champions.

The lane really isn't an issue. Their pre6 is pretty weak, if you don't get poked out. The problem is how much teamfight control both of them give. It's actually an impossible team to dive, cuz of how strong Ashe/Zyra cc combos are.

Problem with Ashe Zyra is that it's only really good against strong initiate teams that don't have initiation damage. But when you have stuff like Kog's range, and Kassidans burst, and J4's burst, it makes it really hard for Ashe to live long enough for zyra's ult to pop them all up.

I think Amazing had misplays first week, TSM definitely a much different team than CW so it's understandable that he had some growing pains, thankfully german junglers too good.
What is Amin up to nowadays? I've only seen like 3 matches with him total and wouldn't call him better than Jankos and Svenskeren.

If we're checking stats, then Bjergsen might be best midlaner in NA right now.
Amazing was derping for 4 weeks until Loco arrived, like, permanently. Outside of 2-3 plays he made, it was just overcame by Volibears, stupid deaths and stuff, basically, Shook last season.
But Amazing doesn't have a opportunity to play like that, he has to perform if he wants to go to Worlds, no luxury.
Even now, he's not even close to his previous form, outside of Lee Sin.

EG are playing "Everyone protect Altec" strategy. When Doublelift was playing it and was praised, there were simply no opponents for him, who could stand against his laning and stuff.
Doublelift still holds beast laning and plays in rotations-based team when he can't splitpush and farm for ages.
In a year he will probably retire or start declining at least to become NA Woong and we will have WT-Altec fight for #1 spot. But it won't be same.

The problem is for poppy's true EU endgame fantasy the strongest player must be entrusted to the lategame poppy. Therefore roccat will win playoffs using vander's support poppy.

I hate the use of early teleports like what Gambit just did with Darien. They could have just as easily let him keep pushing top, and draw pressure from Roccat, and then wait for Roccat to start dragon to drop ward and let the TP fall in.
