More to the point: EG does have glimmers of talent, if Pobelter can shore up his consistency. Krepo remains the highlight of the team: Snoopeh and yolopete still feel lackluster. 'We aren't the best, so lets replace our young support player with very little competitive experience, with an old player that will probably retire sometime in the next year' Don't worry guys, I'm also the person that made the team get rid of Pobelter! I'm a great general manager! The decision against Pobelter is understandable with him still going to school. Doesnt fit together with the level of professionality Curse is trying to reach.

They didn't pick up C9 when the finally broke into LCS (it would've required dropping their old lineup, and who would make that kind of gamble, especially given the lineup's name recognition?). Same thing with Vulcun: CLG.Black/various Goose iterations merger, wouldn't have made sense to pick them up when you had a stable roster that, at the start of the first LCS split, had a great start.
