they gained a lot of ground in asia last year.
But this final 80%+ from Eu wont watch, so it will be a question of if and how they would count chinese viewers and korean television viewership.
Ill go to sleep now, when i wake up it will be over.

Logically SKT is the favorite to win but Tabe really pulls those heartstrings.. From what I've seen so far, seems like logically, royals are going to win. OMG gave skt t1 more trouble than they gave to royals.
That's a horrible way to think about it. The level of familiarity between OMG and Royal totally changes how they will look against each other in comparison to any other matchup.
Royal are clearly the underdogs.

Total views is not a relevant figure given that we are seeing only one day of the event. In fact, using total views to compare events is really unreliable given variable event length, etc. Peak concurrent is much more meaningful when you are only watching 1 night of games.

the all star number was for the last day only...hence why it is so mindblowing. edit: also advertisers care much more about total viewers + time watched, because that shows engagement.

This isn't for the finals, but there was a tweet about this:
KR/CN #'s still incoming, but western #'s on Twitch/YT/Azubu/DM peaked at 900k so far for #worlds. Our fans are the best, thank you so much!

Doesn't take into account korean and chinese tv viewers (which the article says were 2.7M unique... but no indication of concurrent).
