Sword is so bipolar though. Even though I was happy when SKT capitalized on their dumb plays, it was still a little disappointing to watch Cain and pray suicide moronically in games 2 and 4. Sword played so well in 1 and 3, then looked like they turned into a completely different team.

Blue side idiocy aura? :o

Poohmandu gives me a fucking heart attack every game. God damn, never sure which one will show up.

You're right, it's a 2 country stomp......that's not much better.

europe is not a country, when will you north americans learn that.

oh yeah actually I think fnatic will win tonight, but "i doubt skt will put up a challenge for fnatic" is hilarious.

They looked extremely shaky and inconsistent and xPeke is 10 times better than Nagne as a mid

But he's not 10x better than Witezz.

Well that's true, I'm not sure about Royal vs Fnatic and wouldn't mind either team winning

So it's ktb or sword better?

KTB would be way better given a week of practice.

And I never saw them play nearly as retarded as Sword did in games 2 and 4, nor draft as mindlessly as Sword in game 5.

What I'll take from this series:
- games 1 and 3 were good when taken individually.
- series was utter trash and anticlimactic overall.
- I'm anti-hyped for the finals now.

lol

Yeah, a less confused way to put it would be "after such a shit series and SKT dropping games to Sword despite the latter's ability to play whole games on the level of Vulcun's throws, it makes me lower my expectations as to their consistency and level of play compared to before said series", I guess.
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

TBH I don't think SKT are playing as well as they did in OGN. Or maybe they just stomped all the games I watched with them in so it looks like they aren't playing as well.

Eh I don't think they were as consistent as they are in ogn, maybe they were caught off guard by sword but impact and mandu definitely had their peaks and valleys this match.

As much as I wanted Sword to win SKT T1 was always the better team.

However, it looked like to me that Sword was getting more and more exhausted as the games went on, especially their mid player. Every time the camera was on him game 4 and after he was yawning and blinking hard to stay awake.

To be fair xpeke is a lot better than nagne. Nagne needs to go back home and straight up just practice 1v1 laning only. You really can't just sit back and lose lane all the time in this day and age.

I think what I've learned is that most korean mids outside faker are really just not that good. They're still too inexperienced in the art of hard carrying their team and being solid at every aspect of the game on a wide variety of champions. I still give my respect to Ryu though. Ryu is probably the second best mid laner in korea right now despite losing to faker and just pretty solid all around with a nice champion pool.

I'd rather have had it over in some quick 3-0 series. Less time wasted thinking Sword can compete or even win before they go full retard and throw it all away.
At this point games 2 and 4, and the 5th's drafting phase are only lacking a camera shot of one of Sword's players raising a Kappa or trollface sign after the fact.

To be fair, he is a rookie playing against who is widely considered the best mid player in the world.

i dunno. all teams have looked shaky this tournament. c9 rolled fnatic in g2 and pretty much threw away g3 by not banning kassadin + giving up two free kills in the first 40 seconds of the game.

even royal were behind omg for a good majority of g1 due to omg's superior map and objective control, but then royal showed superior team fighting and coordination, leading to constant wins and objectives that way.

i'd say that i would still favor skt > royal > fnatic, but wouldn't be shocked at all if fnatic wins it all. all three teams are the best of their region.
