Two things as public notice: 1. + Show Spoiler [Quarterfinals 1 spoiler] +Congrats to Fnatic, they played superbly and glgl to them in the Semis! No one is saying that Fnatic only won because of the level 1 in Game 3. Please keep the nationalistic statements out of our subforum. 2. Riot's Worlds format is atrocious. Let's not beat a dead horse here. I will certainly be talking to Riot's eSports dept about it in the near future. I simply ask everyone to be civil. Humble in victory, graceful in defeat. Enjoy the games~ -Neo, Sept 23rd, 3:20 PM PDT, page 120 |

They had literally no idea how to play against the poke. It's unreal. Gambit has deserved to be out of this tournament since groups and now they are, I'm more than content with this result.

Najin was worthy this series considering how Gambit played game 2 and 3. Now iys only Fnatic left to cheer for

Nidareeeeeeeeeeee
Blue side 5-1 Fnatic 2-1 Sword 2-1. Blue side > fnatic + sword.

Guess ozone's the only exception to the korean hype.

Nice job Najin. A good run by Gambit too!
Sigh, regrets on no betting on Expession + Pray. =(

the brushes are cool early game. but lategame when one team gets a bit ahead and gets vision control its pretty insane how much map control brushes provide
heres my idea
at 20 minutes, all heroes have a third summoner spell activated. this spell costs 100gold to use and puts a 5 minute buff on your champion that allows you to see over/inside brushes (with your champion). buff goes away when you die
sure this basically removes brushes after 20 minutes. but i think that would actually be a good thing making the game less snowbally
its just my own thought watching worlds that games seem to snowball alot (initial advantage team normally wont lose if they dont throw) and i think alot if it is due to vision advantage that a team gets when they start to get the advantage It's really only Western teams that get snowballed by vision control. If you look at how the gold difference changes between when Western teams lose vs. when Chinese or Korean teams lose--Korean and Chinese teams are generally fairly good at playing damage control with regard to their vision and farming space when they're behind. They'll only fall further behind when they have to give up objectives or lose teamfights. With Western teams for the most part, this disadvantage snowballs really hard because they do not maintain vision control in their own jungle as aggressively. When they fall behind, their farm suffers, and they bleed out very rapidly even when no action is happening.
What? Buying a mana manipulater doesn't help you maintain map control from a deficit?

Really would've loved it if GMB won this but it looks like NJS deserved it more. Loved the Nidalee play at least. GG and good night guys.

They have such a good composition to go vs ap nidalee. Yeah, but their bot lane fed like crazy, so the weak early lane mid didnt matter. Once nidalee gets like level 9, if she's allowed to do whatever she wants like that, you're in trouble.

Pretty much guaranteed a Korean team in the finals now =(

gragas/ori are not fizz cant carry a game when botlane is just brutally outmatched
|
to be fair gragas was the only reason gambit stayed in game for so long with so big gold deficit
