i like C9 but they have no chance against current Fnatic unless they decide to play Yorick xD

The vulcun games were pretty clean. Perfectly executed early game into perfectly executed throws.

definitely OGN offered games with a lot higher quality than worlds so far.

i wonder why koreans do silly sh1t like benching Homme and now it looks like Sword gonna bench Ssong and put Nagne in the mid lane
wtf?
well i'm ok with that cause this definately helped Gambit to make it out of the groups and maybe will help to beat Sword

They benched Nagne some time ago. Nagne played in NLB with them, at least the finals I believe and Ssong has been bad for awhile

Worlds has been kind of disappointing to me TBH. Pretty much every game not playing by OMG/SKT/Fnatic have been really really sloppy, throws and mistakes non stop. SKT definitely included in the sloppy category though they've won a little more than others, OMG and Fnatic a bit better than the rest. But seriously, this looks like a bunch of nerds at a LAN just screwing around instead of a bunch of nerd ballers fighting for the world championship. It's this kind of performance that gives eSports a bad name (yes I'm using the "hurting eSports card). Are there stomps in the NFL? Yes. Does the losing team deliberately do dumb shit and embarrass themselves? No. I swear if you hid the names some of these games would look like they were taken from either Plat or low Diamond. The only thing that is distinguishable is the amount of farm they have.
In other team sports if a player isn't performing to the level they're capable of a coach would normally bench that said player to send a message to the player and rest of the team. That's just one example and you don't really have that option here. Yes, Ozone could have used Homme considering he was there as an alternate (something very few teams have when it comes to LoL). A rare card indeed, but this goes back to what I said when it came to the picks of TSM versus GG.EU arguably a match with nothing on the line in TSM's case other than a measly 15k, which the team made it pretty clear they don't want or need and how it reflects on sportsmanship in other sports because let's face it. There are many examples in sports as well. Anyway, there is no need to make a big deal about it. They made what could have been a stomp fun and when you're having a bad day at the office this is a good tactic to use.

How the heck do they have no chance. Please enlighten me because if anything I see mostly Europeans talking in absolutes.

Pretentious Euro fanboys coming out of the woodwork. If Vulcun can take a game off Fnatic, C9 has more than a chance to crush them.

Pretentious NA fanboy strikes back. Vulcun went 2-2 with C9 in the season don't see how C9 is so vastly superior to Vulcun that you can say V > F in one game so C9 >> F in bo3. Vulcun might actually be better than C9 when they aren't in throwbargins mode.

it's sad that China drew one another, like really sad , but on the flip side I really wanted to see #1 NA vs. #1 EU in an extended series so that is awesome.

just see for yourself - TSM and Vulcun sucked some major balls in groups so C9 can only beat mediocre teams in american LCS (there is no another there) while Fnatic won their group convincingly.
basically we have an american team in quarterfinlas only because C9 got a bye If they have to play in groups they will never make it out

are you being real right now, "don't see how c9 is so vastly superior to Vulcan" really? even if it's 2-2 is that actually what you think or are you trying to support your argument?
ok clearly none of the europeans on this page watch the NA LCS well let me enlighten you.
There is 0 way to have an accurate read on c9's power level, to say Fnatic will win for sure or c9 will win for sure is just guessing. c9 didn't just win NA LCS they walked all over it, they were so much better than everyone else it's impossible to know how good they really are, thats why NA fans have been waiting for worlds so badly.

Huh did you miss the second half of that sentence? I do think C9 is better but they aren't so much better than you can just say that because Vulcun won against Fnatic in one game that C9 will crush them. I don't even know what you are trying to say
|
if you watched even 1/4 of the NA LCS games there is no question that c9 is so much better they are un-gaugeable via other NA teams
mabye the head to head record does not indicate but they dropped 3 maps the entire split including they playoffs where they stomped both series to qualify for worlds.

this is the dream match up for both regions, I'm really looking foreword to seeing how it plays out
|
I believe in Fnatic. I don't think the two are that far apart skill-wise, but I think outside of Meteos I think Fnatic is better in every other department.
|
Guess LoL is just a casual game that even a team so much better can lose multiple times to the same team... This is just getting ridiculous.
|
So annoyed by that TSM troll. Simply came off as way too arrogant.

you can't have it both ways, you can't call h2h important when you take into consideration c9 v Vulcan and a joke when you compare Vulcan v Fnatic, the sample size is abysmal in both cases.
