I do like the fact that teams from different regions have atleast a chance to fight each other (group stage). If Riot had more time, money and resources, I bet they could probably include losers brackets or make it Bo3 in group stages and/or in brackets but people forget.. this shit costs a lot of cash. For what it is worth right now, its done pretty well. | ||

S3 worlds would have an even worse debacle to S2 worlds. it seems like what happened is that the NA updater got so excited about C9 they did their match first, and then filled in the rest without realizing the order they put it in. | ||

For the same reason, I think this is why there are now no international tournaments scattered throughout the calendar - not giving the teams a chance to experience different metas increases the chance of upsets. Although, to be fair, I'm not sure whether Riot specifically is preventing these sorts of competitions, or if it's for some other reason that they're no longer happening. Or is it just a case of me needing to remove my tinfoil hat? | ||
