Its quite enjoyable that people are ignoring entire sections of my posts in order to try to mock me. It really just makes the people responding look illiterate.

Your detective skills are almost as fucking bad as your theorycrafting.

If they wanted a legit cool ceremony that has only minimal bias introduced. Then have a platform with all the teams cards held up, and the captain walks over to and removes the envelope from the stand, the stand lights up and shit and shows the matchup after the card is revealed.

removes the chance for a human to introduce bias in what is supposed to be a random ceremony.

I agree that it was a bad move (human and his weird movement), lets just hope it was just stupid screwup not some rigging.

No, according to Riot double elimination is too confusing for dumbasses like us

Oh well, something to add to the ever growing list that OGN could teach Riot how to do...

NO, i would not. i would complain that they didn't use seeding which should have happened from the start. Blatant bias introduction is unacceptable from a scientific point of view. I would equally complain about a paper written on subatomic particle behavior based solely off observing them as individuals.

I'd say <10% chance it was actually rigging and 90% chance redbeard was just having fun. some minute chance it was unintentional movement. It did prevent Korea vs Korea on one side of the bracket and china vs china on the other, but eh. Was still a bad ceremony.

aaaand accidental double post.

Expession just seems to fail in big competitions. He's been in five OGN seasons. He's been knocked out in group stages four times. Made the quarterfinals once with Shield, but got smashed 0-3 by the rookie Faker and SKT. I really do think he's a promising player and wasn't the main reason why Sword didn't make the quarters of OGN Summer, but the team around him just crumbles around him for some reason. If Nagne, their new mid, can come in and play somewhere below Faker, but much better than Dade, then I think Pray and Expession will be in a good position to win their lanes.

I would have been more worried for Sword if they had drawn Fnatic, with one of the best mid lanes and a steady top lane going up against Black Sword's inexperience, but Gambit were shaky in the group stages. If Nagne can play decently in lane and not go full Dade, I like Sword's chances with how well everyone says they're playing in scrims.

I don't see why this needed to be fully random to begin with. Just fix the Ro8 matchups so no repeats of regional LCS can occur before the finals. Guarantee no EU vs EU, KR vs KR or CN vs CN before the finals.

Riot already fucked the competitive integrity of the tournament for the sake of viewership anyway when they chose to give CN and KR less seeds. No harm in doing it some more.

Did you not watch the production? Random chick puts the cards in envelopes and closes them. Cards go to Magus. Magus gives cards to Sjokz. Sjokz gives cards to Red Beard.

The ONLY way Red Beard could know what order the cards are in is if he watched them get put in the envelopes and then followed the carriers on the way to the stage to track any possible shuffling. Is there any proof of that anywhere? No. Now get off the medium in the middle of Times Square, and put your underwear inside your pants.

Weird that Cloud 9 is on at noon PDT/3:00 PM EST on a Monday. A lot of C9's main fan base will be in school when the games start. I guess they want the Korean fans to be able to see Black Sword?

Did you not read what i'm complaining about?????? I'm talking about redbeards movement of the cards influencing which card is picked. Not that he's doing it to force a certain card to be picked.
