Think both are true <3 peke is a god
Really need to experiment with his grail->liandrys in ori. Never seen that before

Peke kept walking forward to juke barrels. Just like the Faker kill vs Ori 1v1 kill in some game (skt vs omg?) if ori walked towards faker he would have missed his R. Dade chocked hard but if peke would have walked backwards as most players do dade would have killed peke.
Hitting a cask that throws people away/side doesn't look as dumb but it has the same effect as missing most of the time. The part of the gragas ulti that will kill in that situation is quite small; slightly smaller than dark matter.

That's why you need to charge in and throw barrel at point blank, facecheck style.

I'm with you all the way. Games starting at 10? I get to watch one game before I go to bed! Why Riot, WHYYYY

Well part of the problem was Faker was winning the same matchup vs Cool pre-6 already(If you looked at CS it was even, and on health, Faker was ahead). I'm pretty sure that ori is supposed to beat gragas until 6, and at 6, it turns into much more of a skill matchup.
Really I think it's a familiarity problem with the champion. Dade didn't look like he had played gragas all that much in recent history. And I think Dade missed so many R's that it can't be attributed just to juking.

This is the first time I can recall lots of people voting No on matches

Most of them were just one sided stomps and Ozone being absurdly underwhelming.

For people who thought xpeke was juking the barrels, I want to point out that Dade even missed a barrel when attempting to last hit a siege minion at one point. That siege minion sure as fuck wasn't juking. =\

You severely underestimate the mind games siege minions play with people.

I'm fairly certain the timings were to cater to west coast viewers and primarily Asia. They could've easily made the games start at 5 PM PST so that East Coast and Central time zone people could watch the games but then the times get worse for Asia.
edit: @discussion on last page, Imp prefers champions like Caitlyn and Vayne who are good hyper carry auto attackers. Corki plays similarly to a mage and is all about mid game while falling off late game. It's a pretty huge shift in play style to go from auto attackers to playing an AD caster (which is really what Corki is). It's just like how hard it was for some ADCs to pick up Urgot back when he was fotm awhile ago.
Yes, the blame lies upon Imp and Ozone for not expanding his champion roster (especially in a role like ADC where you really only have to learn 2-3 'styles' of play) but it's not as simple as just, "ok Imp, I know you just got this patch last week in Korea and you're gonna have to spend 18 hours on a plane but you should be able to pick up Corki ezpz." In reality Ozone should just ban Corki if Imp can't play it.

EU gets the shaft unfortunately.

I lol'd.
Ozone needs Homme, he's their shot-caller mental focus guy and they're not focused without him.
In other news, over-under on 5 deaths on regi in 15 minutes against Faker tonight?

As proof, if you look at the tickets and schedule, Quarterfinals 1 is the only day of games at the studio that falls on a weekday and starts earlier than 6PM, and it's the only one that didn't sell out. The live audience will always take scheduling importance over anything else.

Yeah, I didn't really consider the live audience. But I'm pretty sure Asia's viewership was also considered since they're the biggest region.

Not just EU. I'm in Texas and I can watch maybe two games before I need to go to bed most nights or else show up to work incredibly tired. East Coast people have it worse. But it is what it is, Riot can't appease everyone.

Samsung paid 500k for a team who won't make out of group stage, a team who does double tears in two trinity champions, a team who risk changing their experienced top to a soloq guy, a team with a world class midlaner who waste 3 bans because he can't play them and end up fucking bot cause one team can't play corki yet.
