I kind of hope that Ozone's performance make Korea re-evaluate their system. Having points is fine but no teams should get automatically seeded into worlds. Korea is the only region that did that, every other region made teams earn their spot at worlds. To be fair, Ozone did get 3rd in the latest OGN season. So you could argue that is they played, it would have been SKT1, KT B and Ozone for Korea reps.. Not really; if the circuit point system placed more weight on more recent results, Ozone wouldn't necessarily get automatic seed placing (hell, if they only seed one or zero teams directly into World, it would work too), then they might have to go through the qualifiers, which could be a completely different ball game; or at least force them to train themselves to be more up to date

Dunno since I don't watch NLB

They were next to a non-factor in Champions Summer (considering they were in the "lower" league), we just haven't seen them play against top teams in so long they could be fantastic or god awful or anything in-between.

From what I understand, Najin has spent time in the league below champion's(the main KR tournament) and for some reason that also gives them points, so that along with their win from the end of 2012(points don't decay) gave them the #1 seed.

This is true, but even in that scenario Korea would be giving SKT T1 a spot into quarters while KT B would be there instead of Sword. Still a better scenario for Korea. In Chinese stream, Zzitai predicted that Sword will be TPA in s3, Sword went 10-0 iG in scrims
It's possible, I think that KTB is stronger than Sword but we'll see.

They look incredibly good...bad level 3 against what most call the strongest non-Korean team at the tournament and then still keeping it a close game is not exactly poor play. SKT just stomped KT B in the regionals. They were down a significant margin versus Lemondogs for about 15 minutes and could have lost that game. The lost convincingly to OMG even though it wasn't a stomp. I expected SKT to maul everyone in the group and they haven't done so thus far. They didn't look bad, but they also didn't look brilliant. SKT lost the first game in both Bo5s they played against KT (and the second game in the Summer Finals). They also lost the first game of the series vs Ozone. But they always turned it back around with 3 wins in a row afterwards. SKT is definitely a team that excels in a multi-game series. They adapt extremely well. Bo1s don't really show much about them imo; we'll see a lot more out of them in the rematches.
Honestly, I don't put much stock in the fact that in the past they were able to turn it around after being in a 1-0 or 2-0 hole. That stuff is all situational. The fact was, SKT was just the better team then KT B and Ozone in those series, and that could be seen in the games they lost as well. I fully expect SKT to get out of the groups, and I might still consider them favorites to win the tournament but I don't feel like they will win in a landslide by any stretch of the imagination, which if you listened to the general team liquid sentiment, they would. SKT didn't look that impressive in their first two games, thats all i'm saying.

Ouch poor Ryze. Such a great strategic decision from Vulcun, let your amazing mid laner truly carry and shut down his lane opponent.
