You can talk shit about your favorite team, and still be a supporter.
Yes, in Germany when the home team or the crowd favourite is losing, the crowd usually gets very quiet, just as the TSM fans right now, and when they do good plays the crowd gets really loud again. Nobody would even remotely be surprised by that over here.
And yes, you can talk shit about your team, but you can also choose not to. You seem to think that you HAVE to do that in order to have "credibility" or not be "irrational" or whatever. At least that's my impression at the moment.

It is actually kinda sad that they dont have more fans becasue they are pretty normal dudes and not kinda weird like the TSM guys. I think they have plenty of fans for a really new pro-team. This finals just proving what everyone already knew. C9 is a pretty big step ahead of the rest of NA. C9's actually been around for a very, very long time. They've changed names, and partially roster, numerous times but they've always been there.

Or is it a zero tolerance policy? it's definitely a lenient thing one of our players (idr which, it was very early in the season, vileroze maybe?) left a game like 2 SECONDS before the enemy last-hit the nexus and we got a verbal warning for it. i'm pretty sure regi has done it before already this season so they've probably already gotten their verbal warning. at most TSM would lose a ban, but honestly with how far beaten down TSM is right now, RIOT would probably lose a lot of favor by actually enforcing that rule. but he'll definitely 100% be talked to personally after the game.
That's pretty nice to hear. Thanks for the info.

It is actually kinda sad that they dont have more fans becasue they are pretty normal dudes and not kinda weird like the TSM guys. I used to be a fan, but their TL fanbase has totally turned me of. Now I have to hope that Vulcun switches out Zuna, to find a NA team to support Cloud9 doesn't actually have that many TL fans. TSM and CLG are by far the large majority of fans on TL. I guess you might have meant TSM, then that makes sense too. Although fan is just short for fanatic, so it at least applies to the definiton For a lot of the older fans of teams, it's really a matter of old loyalties. When I first started watching League, I was a fan of Epik because of Dyrus/Westrice and I liked TSM because Regi is Dan's brother. Obviously, with EG collapsing and Dyrus going to TSM, becoming a TSM fan was easy and the next logical step.
I really like C9, because I seriously think that they will save the NA scene by being the big bully the forces the rest of NA to get better(that and Jack OP.) I'm under no delusion that TSM is better than C9, but if I'm sat down in front of a match between the two I will root for TSM every time. I like TSM with my head, I love TSM with my heart.

I root for Dig (since they were RS)/CoL/TBD.
I should have committed suicide by now I think. ;_;

I like C9, their teamfighting strength brings back memories of SK in their prime, but it really seems pointless to cheer for a team that's leagues ahead of their opponents. Rooting for the underdog makes it more exciting when they do win.
...this is what happens when you grow up with the Redskins as your home team : \

Wait-wait-wait, you're actually saying Riot is willing to not punish a team because they have a huge fanbase ? This is completely retarded. It's almost like giving an advantage to a team compared to the others. Reginald acted like a dickhead by ragequitting and if his behaviour is punishable, then he should be punished, regardless of the team.

After all, they're promoting this game, advertising it to all their players. They can't really accept anyone ragequitting in such a high-profile game and then announce another wave of bans or something because of toxic behaviour.

It might just be a loss of a ban if anything comes.

I tried to get the best of both worlds by rooting for Vulcun but their defeat to TSM made me sad. At least they're still going to the worlds though I'll root for any NA team there.
