TSM lost the fight, then Meteos were able to pressure bot since there was noone there to stop it from pushing. They proceed to get Xpecial+tower+drake (stupid Elise) while TSM only gets a tower. That was a large gold swing between the previous fight and that, and a bunch of map control that TSM relinquished (plus the momentum). I still don't get why they let Balls get Rumble. He's not a one-trick pony but his Rumble is significantly better than the rest of his (rather narrow) champion pool and also brings a ton of objective/zone control which is exactly what C9 likes. Plus, Rumble is one of Dyrus' best champions. If you take Rumble away from Balls, he's not playing as well, and the rest of the pool has nowhere near as much dragon control so it harms their playstyle too. Dyrus' Rumble has been hit or miss in the past, though. They may not have wanted to risk it being an off day and getting crushed (not that they didn't get crushed in the midgame anyway).

Vayne wasn't even doing much damage and people were still all getting very low. Vayne is actually a really strong midgame AD with BotrK timing. She can basically crush anyone 1v1 when she gets botrk. It's just turtle goes BT so he does nothing.

(No, I'm not saying that was the only reason C9 won so much, get off of your high clouds)

I think most of us who started during s2 had TSM as their first favourite team - me too, IPL4 was the first tournament I saw. But after worlds I had to realize how bad they are, and it's just NA being bad that makes them look good. They will be crushed at worlds again, I'm 100% positive about that, even though I'd rather see them do good, to make it more interesting.

I find everytime he plays a different champion than ashe, he really starts to come out of his shell.

He constantly had great positioning with his Defile, but Wildturtle/Regi/TOO were pretty disappointing. Nocturne doesn't have that much presence when his ult is down, and he was required both top and bot while Meteos was kinda free to do his thing because Elise clears stupidly fast, has better mobility and most importantly his lanes where doing better by themselves. Was kinda annoying me because TOO could have done his best, it still wouldn't have been enough which how much he was requested. And after that they put him on Noc, so... you can't expect him to do much. Noc doesn't feel good at all in competitive play outside of specific compositions, he doesn't bring much.

Yeah kinda sad to know that C9 is very likely to face SKT/KTB (whoever qualifies) or else MVP Ozone from quarters. Potentially Royal Club or whoever goes from China besides OMG. They'll probably get eliminated their first match unless they get lucky and pull an EU team or something.
