Dig just isn't a top 3 NA team anymore and Patoy isn't a top 3 support either. Xspecial, Ed, Lemon, Blood, Daydreamin all ahead of him imo. I'd put him ahead of chauster though

Actually it was a bad baron call again. They just luckily won the fight (or played the fight somewhat better). I don't think Dig ever tried to Baron (except once) that entire game. It seemed they almost exclusively used it to bait TSM into fighting. You can see the instant they see someone from TSM approaching the baron pit, they all turn on him and try to take him down. They didn't have any intention of risking losing baron again. Normally you dont "bait" them into a baron fight by not having oracle or even pink ward, while an enemy pink ward is in the pit. And lose a lot of your hp in the process.
If you are stronger than the other team or have a high pick potential, you don't need to clear wards. You can just turn when they come. Wards are more for if you don't want to fight the enemy team at baron so you have enough warning to back off in time. So yes wards would be better, but not required.

I don't really get what you want him to do. He mostly plays Sona, Zyra, Janna, and sometimes Fiddle. Would he somehow be better if he dove into the fight and got insta-gibbed?
His job is usually to pop his extremely influential ult and then peel for qtpie and stay on the outskirts. Oftentimes this saves Dig's ass because they pick a horrible fight and Patoy staying alive allows them to run away/disengage.
But you know, diving into the fight and dying heroically as a squishy support is cool I guess.

There is no top3 NA atm.C9 is best by far and other teams except velocity have fair chance to be in top 3 spot.
