Unless you don't plan to first pick jayce, and don't want c9 to pick jayce either. I believe that's why it's called a ban. They first picked elise............... which is unncessary; since C9 doesn't really favor that pick that much. TSM's drafting was really sloppy this game. Both meteos and balls said they prefer to play elise when she is available in one interview afaik. I don't think I've seen meteos play it yet this LCS; balls maybe; but it's still far over valued pick by TSM. Eh at MLG I can't remember vs which team but meteos completely carried with elise. But imo meteos' zac is stronger than his elise so I do agree that first picking it wasn't the best call.

Riv is drunk he keeps mistaking WildTurtle for Dyrus.

TSM had a good chance there but Turtle blew it with that aggression

and when I say "ideal picks" i mean Korean picks/draft philosophy.

Wildturtle has been over-agressive with flashes twice this game. C9 is really good at knowing when to stop running almost perfectly, so these overextensions are costing him. Also wtfffffff C9 is so good, TSM playing pretty well too though except for Xpecial xD

What I do not understand is TSM running Dyrus as damage threat Renek.
Just shows that C9 is so far ahead of any other team in NA in terms of drafting and team construction.
If they first picked Elise, which I don't think it's that bad of a choice, they should have let Dyrus top Elise and then just picked up Nasus on TOO.
Elise(damage threat)/Nasus/Ori/Twitch/Thresh is much better than
Renek(non-frontline/squishy)/Elise(tank)/Ori/Twitch/Thresh. IMO.

Turtle is one of the Ezreals who Arcane Shifts towards the enemy even if he's not playing Ezreal

Dyrus building damage is fine; they're not focusing him. Look at all these teamfights; Dyrus isn't dying. So going damage is fine.

Dyrus said on his stream the other day that he is a bad elise.

So you know ideal korean draft philosophy?

I don't think Elise is in Dyrus' champ pool.

I think he's operating under the assumption that he's going to get blown up pretty quickly in the teamfights, so cd reduction wont matter as much as just 1 qwr before dying.

I have a pretty decent understanding of it. Banning Jayce/TF/Rumble, "contested picks"; when you have First pick; just to First pick Elise, is pretty questionable. Especially since TOO's elise is pretty underwhelming.

C9 doesn't favor Elise? Meteos is known for his Elise, even if he doesn't play it often in LCS. It is by far his most effective Jungler. Balls Elise has stomped hard both games he's gotten her.
Please, please, stop talking as if you know what's going on all the time.
