Ohoho, the Velocity hype. Maple and Ecco are indeed good players, but Vileroze should be a coach, not a player. Well, everyone has the right to be the hotshotgg of their team I guess.

c9 will defeat velocity. The pause between week6 and week7 should be enough time for them to figure out how to deal with the new style ecco brought to the team.

While I agree that Vileroze is pretty meh as a player, his shotcalling ability was sorely missed the week(s) he missed. Just no coordination, no direction from the team. You'd have to replace him with another shotcaller of similar ability, which is not the easiest to find.

Velocity with a big chance to make some huge ground back up this week though. Playing Curse and Coast who both have 7 wins. If Velocity wins both they are up to 6 wins, and suddenly the gap isn't that large. (Coast is also playing against the top 2 teams.)

I mean is C9 a favourite to win? Of course. Is Velocity a live underdog - absolutely.

To beat C9 you need to
A) Not fall behind in laning phase - you simply don't stand much of a chance if you let C9 get ahead, masters of closing out a game
B) Have an AD carry that can carry the game (maple fits the bill here), as C9 take farm from Sneaky to give to their solos - you need your AD carry to hit critical mass first to make up for that
C) Have a jungler that doesn't get steamrolled by Meteos (NK Inc fits that description)
D) Doesn't get hilariously outpicked (TBD)
E) Have faith that you can win (check, I hope)

You're putting a lot of faith in them with D, but I guess they did fine last week so maybe they can keep the upset train rolling.

I'm sure there's a guy out there who's willing to co-ordinate a team/has leadership abilities. Now it's like a cursed symbiont, where they either have an average player (which pretty much limit their potential), or five rabbits running in circles. If Vileroze stayed as a Coach, VES would be still VES with their strategies, only someone else would call the shots during games, but the gameplan is forged by Vile.
