I dont think so, the individual players on NiP are just too good for that. Although its true that they might get problems with the atmosphere in the team if they lose the first matches with the new lineup. So these first matches will be extremely important for them.

Yea the only real sidegrade was Malunoo and Extinct is super solid mid laner so questions about his top lane(Not sure if he was playing top after SiJ disband). Freeze is a huge upgrade though.

Oh, definitely. I'm not a fan of the move NiP's management made (warranted but doesn't feel right). But Riot deemed it acceptable, so everything else is moot.

They failed to get the mid tower that would have been an easy pickup, so if it's a wash before, and then you consider a 2 tower swing, it's a definite loss.

I think Asians cant go to EU/NA.
They just need to be able to legally work in the US/EU. I don't think there is a regulation preventing single players, qualifying as a full team for the NA or EU LCS would be tricky though.

You want to replace lizard elder with botrk, botrk does almost nothing for you q poke, something that muramana, lizard, and gauntlet all do help. Ez is most likely to work in NA/EU because of how long the games can be, but in a 20 minute game, blue ez just can't get the items he needs to go even with a standard adc.

It's a classic case really. Same thing happens with Mag in dota. People misuse to initiate when it's far far stronger used mid fight as counter initiation or follow up initiation to another member starting things. What happens is the player with initiation feels they have to somehow make a play using it and thus blow it in a bad situation.
It's also due to a drafting problem if your only form of initiation is counter initiation and you are using it in a way it isn't optimal. In this case it seems more player error than draft though?

If the lane phase ends up being really short like this game it's really hard to make an impact on lee without gold and or the ability to make picks with Dragons Rage.

CLG showing a lot of potential; they probably has the biggest amount of individual talent out of any EU/NA team.
50 minute throwfests show many things but certainly not "talent" and "potential".

Throws are a team effort I'll give you that.
I would say CLG is a solid team in that if you are not "that" good they will go in lategame and win because Doublelift will be huge and they are really good in the "save the liftlift, save the world" strategy. As a spectator it looks like the others teams are weak. When looking at C9 games, you see extremely swift reactions, focus fire switching in a split second, and really committed engage. C9 look strong.

Meh it's a tad early to give the prize money away
Obviously there are strong teams galore in Asia, but as we saw at the last championship anything can happen (personally I would not have bet money on WE loosing, nor did I expect TPA to win in the end). There are almost 3 months left until then, maybe CLG will go on a roll and be a massive favorite by the time the tournament happens, or maybe the Korean teams will look unbeatable. Until they actually play the games I certainly won't get involved in theorycraft comparisons.

Yes EG! Gambit didn't play full lineup but still good. Both not the best throughout the game, but hopefully they can improve. Lots of roadtripping really affecting their practice.

Resume of the game: Alex Ich shut down by being 1v2 with EG consistently switching lane to have adc support freezing lane while nasus helped Wickd hold his tower in the 1v2. jayce and Quinn free farmed mid lane. Every chain of corruption was missed in teamfight. Spontex and Alex are weaker than Jayce and can't splitpush, they died doing so. GG force a baron while 4v5, obviously EG's highly mobile composition with Janna and Jayce caught them and chased them easily.

Actually my comment is less to do with Blue Build than BotrK, SoTEL, Last Whisper into no damage. I think standard Ezrael build is fine tbh. It was mostly a knock against the BotrK build than anything else. I think the Ezrael pick itself is rather smart in this situation.

you have to win a teamfight at the very least 2 for 5 to win from my experience. I really don't understand why teams do not go all-in when the 3rd inhibitor is about to go down. Just letting it go pretty much dooms you. If you don't have the confidence to go all-in and win a teamfight, you can't be banking on getting an ace with 3 people alive if you don't think you can even win a team fight.
I've even lost games where we won the teamfight 3 for 5 but lost because all the super minions pushing (can't clear fast enough).
I agree, in soloq I don't get why people always just let the inhibitor die even if the enemy has an advantage. Inhibitors are practically "guaranteed advantage", but if you fight before it dies, the enemy team can also screw up the teamfight

Also Herqbot gave SK early game advantage he helped every lane, ganked all over and simply always was at the right places to stop fnatic's agression. Even nyph and his crescendo worked insanely well.

This tear build on ashe is terrible. He's 50 cs behind, he's not even spamming arrows to charge it and he has barely no skill that works with muramana...

Muramana is quite powerful. Q allows for "quick" tear charging. You can spam your Volley freely without worrying about mana.
It worked pretty well in some of Gambit's games and not so well in other ones.
I get that you can stack it fast but again, she has no singletarget spells so I really don't see the point. I'd rather go for like, Spirit of the Elder Lizard. At least you get the benefit earlier and actually get some significant help for your volley spam
If anything, I'd stack apen with the Muramana so you can actually make use of the damage procs. As is the bonus damage barely tickles .. Over the course of a fight the bonus dmg procs only off her autos and is only like 50-100 physical dmg that cannot crit, aka BotRK level damage

Darien back ( not that spoontex is bad, just no synergy) and more importantly Gambit had to communicate in english.
edit: Diamond certainly underperforming this game though his Udyr pick was also really bad.
NiP did a really good job at that final push and a bit before that dodging Alex's poke. Nothing was hitting anyone except maybe Jarvan and when they were able to catch someone out with Thresh hook they could engage off it because they were still full health, unlike earlier in the game where Freeze would be at almost half to start.
I don't particularly like the fact that they swapped out 3 of their members like they did, but Freeze looks pretty stronk. Deficio is really good imo. so if they can form a solid partnership, this can evolve into a scary duo-lane in some time.
Extinct looked eh meh. Godbro also looked eh meh more often than not though, if you ask me, overall I think extinct will probably be stronger.
I always liked Svenskeren, thought he had great synergy with Bjerg with ganks and stuff. Undecided on maluno Hard to say anything for sure about any of them after this game though.

He's not a full tank, he's a semitank... So anyone who is able to kill tanks or semitanks. In a normal fight Ryze counters ranged ADCs so that's fine, but you shouldn't take 15s to kill him when you have nexus giving you full mana muramana proc the entire time etc
For example if fullbuild Tristana was there instead...
I just don't think it makes any sense to build a ranged ADC without focus on crits.

I also don't really get Diamond's choice to go Tiger Udyr. If he's building purely tank anyway, phoenix early and midgame power is good to make plays and make your team snowball. Here he was useless as fuck :/

This too, I don't think it makes any sense to go tiger over Phoenix as the jungler. Phoenix is incredible with the instaproc for burst damage and it also means that you deal hybrid dmg, and as you aren't going for penetration anyway it means that you'll be much more difficult to itemize against.

People are being a bit harsh on EG, they were really good during the second half of season two, they played well at world finals and you don't bad your way to an OGN final. But then season 2 WC ended and they've been crap since then.

Snoopeh is getting worse adn worse, i can't remember a game were he played good on any level. His mechanics are bad in general or why we never see him play a lee sin or elise
Kerp has straight up disregarded the muramana, I thought it'd synergise well with the new Q but I suppose kha isn't as mana intensive. I dunno it's a kerp build I'll wait and see.
Oh also, Aranaeae Elise looked extremely solid. Didn't derp like at all, made some really good plays, etc etc. I'd like to see him play her more often.

I call that bullshit.
Since 10th min we didnt make any mistake and we played that game the way we were supposed to. We did as much as LD players let us, but no more. If anyone of us would get caught out of posistion once, he would get insta killed within seconds. Our gold lead wouldnt matter that much then. We lacked engage in our setup and LD players tried to abuse it with deep camping in their base. If they went for straight fight, then we could win it earlier, but they didnt. We had to either take a dumb risks or easly but slowly make sure that we take next points in LCS. The part about more experienced teams that would abuse our yesterdays playstyle, I want to ask - how on earth would they do that?

People judge level of plays on different servers and they are so confident in their convictions. This is troubling for me, as there is very little cross server play. Its really hard to judge in my opinion. Until we can see those teams in several cross server torunaments its hard to judge. Right now for me velocity might be better than alternate, and nip might be better than c9. Not enough data to decide if You ask me.
