recommended games for CLG vs Vulcun?
Two choices:
All three, because it's a build up
or
Only third game for the first 20 or so minutes.

Maybe this will finally serve as the wake-up call CLG desperately needs for them to wake up and realize they need to run a teamcomp where its not just doublelift or link providing ALL the threats on the team. HSGG and Chauster need to start finding more bruiser-like champions that can both tank and deal out damage. It was clear to anyone with eyes in that highlighted dragon fight from game 3 where Vulcan's Mid and Irelia were able to collapse on Double and Link that CLG just ceased to even be even a remote threat once those two players died.

But DL hasn't really impressed me lately, but it's entirely possible that it's simply cause CLG as a whole is very bleh atm. Link has great games on occasion, but honestly I can't call him better than Regi/Scarra/Mancould, etc... He's average/equal at best. Aphro just isn't a support player and it shows. Chauster is a fucking terrible jungler. He did okay when Lee Sin was super strong, but after all the Lee Sin nerfs he's just not good. HSGG has good games now and then, but his playstyle is just not suited to S3 meta and he hasn't adapted at all. Sums up my opinions on CLG pretty much. Plus the only reason I supported them was due to jiji and Saint. With them gone.... plus I dislike Doublelift.(his character - not due his ingame skills etc).

To me it seems like one massive negative feedback loop where Hotshot playing passive crap means Chauster tends to do horrible in the jungle, while Doublelift is busy off farming in a corner somewhere because he's always conscious of the fact he has to be obliterating the enemy team. I think Aphro and Link are probably the least problematic part of the team. Not to say either of them is doing great, but they seem to be doing okay given what else is going on...

game 2 he did 1v1 tristana once or twice. chauster's jungle is just terrible though. like, i dont even see any coherent ganking paths with his lee. actually, i didnt see ganks period. i'm not 100% sure either jungler knew how to play lee sin (okay, i know chauster played him s2 and stuff, but still he was just bad).

How many times have CLG fans said "Maybe this time they will wake up?" I have been done with them since Saint left. I just root for DL and hope he changes teams.

HSGG has the ability to play carries/damage dealing bruisers. Just for some unknown reason, he and the rest of CLG have gotten it into their heads that they absolutely can't play anything other than 4-protect-1 comps, when it clearly does not work. They need to get their heads out of their asses and have HS start practicing more Jax or other damage dealing bruisers, or at least adapting. I know the Asian scenes (especially Chinese scene) pick up Malph a decent amount with quite a lot of success; if HSGG is absolutely 100% set on having Malph in his champ pool he should learn from the Chinese teams. Link needs to get his other AP carries to his Syndra-level of play or simply just play more Syndra. Aphro and Chauster just have to practice more or smth 'cause they're imo the weakest links on CLG right now. Chauster more so than Aphromoo. It's alright, I'm a Browns fan, I'm used to disappointment. I'm sorry. It's been good training on how to not just be a fair weather fan. As an Eagles fan, I feel your pain. Though a different sport, as a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, I feel both of your pains. Oh well. Gogo summer split #1

On to watch Vulcun vs. CLG now. Friend already spoiled results for me, but said the games were fairly ok. For promotion games, Jiji to eliminate CLG from Summer Season? Yes please! Edit: Finally a team recognizing picking a "carry" top lane vs CLG works wonders. You get a free lane to farm against Hotshot and a very good option to deal with DLift lategame (though by now, I'm sure DLift is overrated - he, again, did nothing throughout the whole series. Mechanics can only get you that far if you consistently donate Baron to the opposing team because you're bot lane when you have no business being there). Link was the only player on CLG really showing up throughout those games - showcased by Vulcun rather focusing their attentions on him unless they catch DLift mispositioned (which did happen frequently, though).

I only play Lol for like 6 months and have no idea what happened earlier, but chauster should be going back to sup. I dont know what all the hotshotgg bashing is about though: interview He exactly knows what the problem is, dlift not carrying so hard anymore so he is expected to dominate his lane which is not his approach to top laning (unlike voyboy). With the Dlife/chauster combo they would have a very strong bot lane again, allowing him to go back to his supportive play style more successfully. link/dlife as ad/ap carry sounds good to me. They just need a decent jungler t.t

"Good enough" isn't good enough. It's a similar situation to the Chaox/WT TSM thing. Getting rid of Chaox for WT lets TSM open their playbook and be more dynamic as a team. When people play CLG, they know exactly what to expect and exactly how to stop it. CLG isn't so much better than the scene anymore that they can win purely on talent.
