That's actually normal.Think about it.There can't really be more than 6/7 optimal champs for each role. That makes 35 at most. With so few bans you can't really ban all of em so you just pick one of those.

I dont think diamond is playing mumu right, he keeps waiting for the perfect curse the entire game, just little relevancy.
So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie

gambit gave away too much, it's like they thought they would win in the late game no matter what, this game needed a little gambling. :D

people need to start treating zed like malzahar and rush qss. Otherwise, we'll just have ppl wrongly wisecracking with "Zed is balanced".

Yes same champs are played over and over again.

I really don't know how many more champs you think can be played.

6.5 champs per role is kind of a lot to be picked more than 10 times. Also, you have to expect some degree of metagaming with only 8 teams per region. It's more player-specific than champ specific; each player is probably only going to play about 5 champs at a high level.

There are also differences if you look between NA/EU/KR (I'm not well versed on the Chinese or SEA scene).

I think there are a lot of options.

Zed pops people just fine even without his ult, especially if they spend 1.5k on magic resistance.

I'd argue that it's more the fault of the community and players rather than riot. They don't like to experiment often (save for a few). I think there are a lot more champions that are viable, people just don't want to make them work.
