He mains top and is pretty good at support, but I haven't really seen his mid play. Voy, Cop, and Jacky often split responsibility when it comes to carrying games, but if Rhux can't hold his own Mid that's going to spell trouble for the rest of the team.
Rhux did come out from Curse's 1v1 tournament so he should be decent in mid in an isolated environment. It's all up to his coordination with saint and how much pressure top and bot can exert to keep the enemy jungler away from mid.

Again - A tournament post without a link to the corresponding leaguepedia page. Why is this???

Some of the M5 scrims today and yesterday were being streamed, and they looked horrible in all that I saw. Not sure whats up with them. I hope they just didnt take these games serious and are actually in good shape.
Also kinda annoying how everybody is only talking about the 1 NA team out of the 8 teams present. I really wonder why they deserve so much more attention.

rhux will be alright. i dont think he is an outstanding mid player though, his strength shines in top.

i dunno, that one NA team yells pretty loud
Group A: M5 Blaze Group B: Fnatic Frost
Most interested to see how Fnatic does against Koreans. Hopefully they get to play both Azubus.

Group A: Blaze should make it, barring a major upset. GG looks shaky as already mentioned, Curse is playing a sub and MYM is probably in good shape, yet not prepared as their focus should be on the upcoming S3 Live Qualifier.
Group B: Again, Frost should have no problems here. fnatic is in a similar situation to MYM (probably in good shape, yet preparing for S3 instead of IEM), but also has to cope with their old/new AD carry. SK might "upset" - if they're preparing for S3 already, they should be prepared for fnatic anyway. AL is a wild card, yet a third tier team by EU standards that didn't even make it past the first round of the online qualifier.
Finals will be Frost vs Blaze with the usual close outcome, nigh unpredictable. Third/Fourth could be anyone, but if I had to bet, I'd go for MYM and SK. Yes, I chronically underrate fnatic, so I can be happier once they win

shame no fries in there any1 knows why?

They were knocked down by M5 and eliminated by Fnatic.

As a European I will agree with the normal thoughts and go with: probably Azubu vs Azubu finals ) : dont think that a european team has a chance at the moment (maybe MyM can "upset" it but thats about it)

Group A: Blaze/GG Group B: Frost/Fnatic
Fnatic/Frost in the finals, Frost wins. Blaze v Fnatic is kind of up in the air, I'm interested to see Yellowstar in action on Fnatic.

I liked Curse's chances of putting up a fight in that group. The lack of Nyjacky really going to hurt. I hope they have a good vacation. Certainly though they were expected and did stomp their way through the NA qualifiers. Was thinking they would come into this with the do or die attitude as well. Then again its pretty obvious the majority of teams would be hard pressed to win a game in the spot they are.
Group A: Gambit/Blaze Group B: Frost/SK

Group A is brutal wow. Prediction time from me then!
Group A: M5 + Blaze Sorry, I just can't call them Gambit right now. Doesn't feel right. Anyway M5 is still a great team despite some team coordination problems recently. They are going to be tough for anyone to crack. The same applies to Blaze. Curse.na and MYM are both interesting teams and in theory they're capable of upsets. However, the biggest doubt I have is how slick their game plans are going to be and if they have the confidence to make snap-decision calls the same way M5/Blaze do.
Group B: Frost + Fnatic Frost is Frost. The better of the two Azubu teams in OGN and very scary. I cannot see them not advancing from this group at all. The second spot is more contentious. I don't know what SK and aL's current form is like, so I am going to have to lean towards Fnatic due to their IPL5 performance. Despite losing Rekkles, it's not that big of a deal. They just need an AD who knows how and when to farm and just to play safe. The real drive from their team is xPeke and sOAZ controlling the tempo of the game. They have gaps in their play that can be abused, but I'm not sure the other teams have the playstyle to capitalise on it though.

I wonder if Group A will show upsets or if it will be Az/Gambit/CRS/MYM as everybody expects.
Group 2 is a no-brainer though :/

All Azubu finals, no doubt

Just requoting this shamelessly for Jbright to give it some attention.

Az/Gambit/CRS/MYM as everybody expects.
I think most people expect: AZ/Gambit/MyM/crs right? well at least I do it would surprise me if mym loses to curse

Group A: M5 (Such a better name than 'Gambit gaming') and Blaze Group B: Frost and Fnatic
Sad that crs are playing with a sub, would have liked to see how they would have gone here. Can't see them progressing at all, I mean Alex Ich must be laughing looking at Rhux mid.
Hoping for Fnatic vs M5 finals!

I think after season 2 finals M5 or Gambit Gaming has lose their initial strength which is earlt agression and unorthodox picks. If you see their matches on ipl5 they prefer to passive safe farm vs tpa and that cost their games. They dont theorycraft anymore pick copies the chinese and the koreans, their playstyle is complete different from 3-4 months ago. If they dont win this or at least get in the finals, i think its the end for them. I feel EU teams are falling more behind and withing 5-6 months the only teams that can compete with the Korean teams is the Chinese/taiwanese teams.
The reason why i think they will be inrelevant on season3. GG/ex-m5 dont have gaming house, i doubt they are getting one as Alex is married.
