so what if they were playing on laptops? na teams will continue to suck because streaming soloq is more profitable. laptops dont prevent 5v5 practice or force you to stream smite.

That's not the problem. It's a consistent mistake the casters make every single LoL tournament out there. It's really getting to me that PROFESSIONALS as they should be, don't work on their own casting more. I would if it was something I did, and got paid for.

Most of these little mistakes are in the heat of a team fight when it's incredibly easy to miss tiny details or misname a champ or ability. For the most part they do a good job of telling everyone what is going on. Football commentators make mistakes sometimes. They are professionals because despite some mistake, they are good at what they do. If there were people who were better that could replace them, they would.


So you don't think they should watch their own commentating, learn from them and try to correct mistakes. What?

You don't know they aren't trying...just this last week Phreak has been streaming himself practicing on spectator games and looking up team history so he had stuff to talk about in the down time. Just because they make mistake in a team fight like miscalling an ability or use the word "free" instead of "uncontested" doesn't mean they aren't practicing. I don't want them to not get better, but I hate how people are so quick to yell at their mistakes when just to get to the level the are to takes a lot more skill than people are willing to give credit for.

I think CLGeu can keep up with Asia. Citing this tournament as evidence that they can't seems silly considering they haven't been practicing and have a sub. They beat WE at finals and took a game off Frost. A lot better than the NA teams did. M5 had a nearly identical showing to CLGeu at worlds beating iG and taking one game off TPA.

Good. He's working on it. Great. I love the casting, this mistake keeps occuring and bugs me. Am I not allowed to say that out loud? THey are professionals, shouldn't we hold them to a standard? I'm not picking on anything else - They are doing a GREAT job.

Barely making it to the World championships and i mean barely against teams they should have been way above.
And this MLG losing to Dignitas, and i know you will tell me they did not practice and all that, it still shows in the results.
Making it look inconsistant. At there best they can keep up with Asia but at there worst they lose to minor EU/NA teams.

Fair enough, your complaint is valid, I guess the hivemind insults is what gets more on my nerves. Some of their terminology could use some work.
