Good incentive for players to finally learn more champions as well. Nearly all of them have barely expanded their champion pool in aaaaages.
Also, you could be supertroll and use 4 bans to ban out Supports or something huehuehue

I highly agree here. Many people have loads of practice on champions they could use in their pool, but teams have to be willing to USE them. Reginald mentioned it yesterday how they played it safe, all the other ro4s eventually had to play it safe for fear of losing. This extended into today's picks, both teams were going to use their very best with picks centered around that. It was still a team call for what Westrice, Dyrus and all the EU guys played. Is it bad that some of your best champs are so binary? Probably, but you have to take risks anyway to win at this game. Passivity will only cost you.

I agree that the Champion pool needs to be restricted, but making champ select take longer isn't the way to do it.
I'd much rather have them just choose a subset of the champion pool, call it the "Season 3 Champion Pool" and use that exclusively.
Or something to that effect anyways. It gets silly with all of the champs now available.

I feel Reginald gets too much flak for picking Ryze earlier, they tried to build a tanky sustained DPS comp that will own burst aoe after they get enough tanky items. Just Rumble pick game 2 was strange and their decision to force a fight at dragon midgame when it is obviously the strongest time for curse to teamfight.
Also hi, Chiharu Harukaze, you stomped me botlane Ezreal vs my Jax early levels today. Hard. Nice to see a fellow dominion player here

I'd like a more stable champ pool and I don't think I'm the only one. Business model is a primary argument against said idea though.
