At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread.

At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament.

Thanks.

Compared to kiev and sao paulo, this event is taking place at Cebit, its not the main event of the whole thing. Theres just bigger things :// Also its still early, its only the groups and germans need a little action to warm up usually

in São Paulo it wasn`t the main event as well. There was a huge lan party called Campus Party. IEM was just a small place, really.

Oh and a Janna/Vayne lane is getting shit on, who would have thought it.

Shen has an insane amount of sustain and resilience in lane though. I don't understand how Yorrik's poke is apparently so good against him. How does Udyr do so much better?

Considering HSGG took Phoenix (something he regularly does), I would have guessed his approach was a Shyvana-esque playstyle. You can outpush a Yorick relatively easily and then go and roam.

It's perfectly fine but in lane, you usually see Tigerdyr because of the better trading capabilites.

Turtle stance is the sustain-oriented one.

Pheonix is all about aoe dmg. he will push the waves just by last hitting.
Tho i guess it helps with killing ghouls?
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Not exactly. The suprise here is that lanedyr typically goes tiger as their damage spell and not pheonix.

Last second swaps actually having an effect is not nice. I'd much rather leave people in the dark about the exact champ/player pairings until load screen...

Hasn't it always been like this. I saw tournament draft mode from a streamer's FPPOV showed the enemies's name for each slot.

i meant udyr* but at any rate going phoenix doesnt let him do anything in lane, it doesnt have sufficient dmg to burst past yorick's heal

how can you tiger when you're against a yorick who will you push you out of the lane 24/7?

You need phoenix so you can push yorick back.

Wait, does killing Yorick's ghouls change your CS? I know you can lifesteal off of them, stack Nasus Q and get Parrley bonus gold, but I wasn't aware they mess with your CS count

Exactly, and HS actually runs pheonix more than he runs tiger of late. Most people just assume that its a tiger udyr in lane though.

You do make a point there. Yorick pushes lanes well, at least the ones I play against.

I'd say that the majority of that gold advantage is just Shyvana farming>Shen farming.
