because he got buffed and is super stronk now. basically the same reason why shen was permaban back in the day, he's just really annoying to play against. Annoying lane, annoying ult, annoying splitpush.

At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012

He has very strong laning phase post buffs and his global ultimate presence and intimidation factor of changing any 1/2/3/4vX fight immediately the other way. If he gets his farm and his health up he is nearly unkillable while being highly disruptive, capable 1v1er and splitpusher.

Russian Team that did extremely well online and had an impressive first performance at IEM Kiev, winning the entire tournament. Known for an extremely aggressive playstyle, impressive counterjungling and scary coordination during teamfights. They will try to aggressively take enemy buffs by invading the enemy jungle with several players. And if they get a chance to dive... they will dive and kill you. They often put their enemies on backfoot with relentless aggression and capitalize on small slip-ups with even more aggression. On a more negative note, they are also known for being bad mannered. Having a huge feud with TSM, that started because of some rumors that they were shit talking about TSM on their russian stream. Nobody actually knows if that's true but they have shown some quite questionable manners during game chat while playing in online tournaments.

And they're famous for something? - Started getting noticed by beating a few top teams in (SK, TSM and some others) in scrims and Go4lols - Untested on big stage going into Kiev but considered dark horse - Completely dominated the tourney with a previously unseen style that revolved around hyper aggressive counter jungling and generally really co-ordinated teamwork -- Didn't drop a game all tourney until the final - Arguably popularised several now common picks like Shyvanna and support Nunu - Had quite a few interesting picks and strategies such as giving GP buffs at level 1 then sending him bot lane to 2v1, their AD carry building triple dorans > wriggles > PD, bot lane AD Kennen - That video that Craton linked edit Wow so slow =(

They still dont get him after THIS buff cycle. God if I know why. Hard to explain why an entire set of top teams can be so horribly wrong. But then again, they still think amumu is a top tier jungle. So Eu teams do get weird at times.

There was an interview before an IEM last year when an EU jungle stated that they were gonna make the Americans realize why Mumu was a common ban in Europe. Didnt work out that way.
