CLG's tourney depends heavily on chausters ap. By all accounts of top level players, chaus the scariest solo laner in the game, on anyone. It was just that the old meta used to put ad (chau) mid, ap top (jiji) and some bot lane together (ele and HSGG). Meta change meant that chau shifted bot, hs shifted top, and jiji stayed in a solo. So CLG, by all accounts, lost a good amount of their firepower by wasting chau in a duo.

yup and the way jiji is playing lately in lane, he is def better off bot, he has great late game decision making and positioning which will suite his AD well late game.

It's not CLG hate at all. If they were in Group B, they'd take the group 3-0, no question. It's just they ended up in the Group of Death, and I'm sure the three other teams are better than them.
Jiji is still slumping. I hate to say it, because when he's in form, GOD is he brilliant. Gives no fucks, goes for crazy kills, dominates with nonchallance. He's not been in form for a while now, though, and without him, CLG have a real problem. But even WITH Jiji in form, there's still the issue of team communication, and if anything, that part seems to be getting worse.
They'd stomp Curse/v8/Sypher no problem, and SK would be a tough fight, but they've shown quite recently what they can do to SK. It's just that Fnatic, Dignitas and TSM are all better teams at this moment.

Hm. Might just be the fan inside of me, but I think CLG still has what it takes to beat TSM up front. They did beat them for 3rd place at the IPL 2-0 iirc. I think it all comes down to how well they can get their act together. A CLG completely in form is probably the scariest team out of everyone. It's just that they don't often get there.
Group B I just can't call. Even though it's considered the weaker group, there's still so much that could happen.

In retrospect I suppose you were right about CLG last time even if it was the ultimate BM. I do like your reasoning though, but I still think CLG is a wildcard.

I don't expect CLG to do much here primarily because they're swapping jiji and chauster's roles with so little practice time.
I don't think fnatic has much serious practice lately. They play a lot, but it's just steam-rolling teams in arranged 5's. TSM is pretty hit or miss. Dignitas is easily the favorite to win the tournament. I predict Dignitas and either CLG or TSM to advance.
Crs has never been a strong team, so I would expect them to place last or nearly last in the tournament. SK is woefully inconsistent, so I wouldn't be surprised to see v8 and Sypher take games off them, but I still think SK and one of v8 or Sypher will advance.
