They're complaining about saplings being used for slows? Geez. The animation's so long you actually don't catch up to someone by tossing a sapling near them if they're running away, you used that to slow people down for your teammates when Q/W are on cd or out of range. Isn't that what the disruptive tank's supposed to do?

I had mixed feelings about the assasin update but this tank update is a failure. Yeah some things got slightly better (Zac Q has more potential and is fun to use), other got worse (Mao ult) but the three updated champions are likely to end up in more or less in the same point they were before the update.

that new zeke's is so convoluted I can't even tell what it really does. Builds out of great items though. I would add it to my trundle support build if its any good, locket isnt that great on him anyway

45 second ICD though. Wouldn't want it on such a trivial ult, maybe leona or something with a low CD ult would work really well though.

the biggest weakness of support trundle is that there is no reason to target him. He doesnt use windspeakers or any shield increasing support items so the locket shield is pretty weak. It also doesnt solve that first problem.

Anything on trundle that forces them to give you attention is good. Its why knights vow is really good on him as well

the difference being that most supports are going to continually shield/cc if you leave them alive so you actually want to kill them. Trundle just drops 3 big time things into the fight and thats it. You ult, pillar, and Q an ad and the other team doesnt have to worry about much else but those things are all very powerful.

Hmm anyone have thoughts on how to build new kindred?

I'm thinking warrior into RFC into IE and then the game probably ends before you build anything else. But if it does go long and you hit 6 items your team is probably way ahead in its ability to deal damage in straight fights or poke turrets from a distance.

Seems like the reward for building on hit is pretty much gone. That's sad since it makes them less unique, but it is what it is. Hard building adc normal items with jungle money.

I watch more than I play these days so I risk putting my foot in my mouth but from a viewer's perspective Rek Sai ult was boring. 99% of the time I was watching it was used, on cd, to go back to farming jungle because there wasn't much else you could do with it (I guess it also helped with objective control but that's about it). I'm pretty sure Riot imagined it as a not-OP global gank/counter-gank ability, something different from TF/Pantheon/Nocturne/Shen, but the result was definitely was a lot more boring than that. They wanted people to be terrified when they heard rek-sai scream much like nocturne's "darkness", but it never worked out that way.

So they replaced the ultimate with something else stuffed with more riot design memes (3 hits to activate, gap closer, and % missing health damage).
