You may say: "your MMR is low!". Well, on Platinum II I was gaining more than losing, then Platinum I and KABOOM I get 12-15 for winning and 20-25 for losing. Additionally, remember when there used to be a time where Diamond V was ridiculously clamped? How do you think Riot fixed that problem? I suspect they just released some of the pressure on Diamond V and moved them to Platinum I instead. It is the natural solution. TLDR: Platinum I is probably not as much of a failure as you may think. i did not experience clamping in p1 in august. i'd recommend queue dodging more frequently if you experience it.

TLDR: Platinum I is probably not as much of a failure as you may think. They didn't shift the clamping, they just removed it from d5. The d5 was two issues, one where there was a specific bug which they fixed, and one where d5 is just a much larger range of mmr's then most other elo's. The first issue was fixed, and their solution to the second issue seemed to be to just artificially reduce the clamping in d5 specifically, if you win 5-6 games in d5 you can get straight to d4, but you'll still have d5 mmr and be playing vs low d5 people. P1 didn't have any clamping in it last month, and still doesn't from what i can see of people there.

You could be right, but I always thought the D5 problem was due to Diamond tier being too low - resulting in a lot of people undeserving getting to D5 then get stuck.

Just started spamming him in normals/teambuilder to practice him. Feels incredible strong in the current meta since he can actually kill juggernauts/tanks decently fast while still being able to peel them away with Stand Aside and kite with proper backwards use of Q+W. Doesn't hurt he also feel very strong against Vayne who's very popular too whom[right usage of 'whom'?]. My questions with him is: 1) Is it worth to suicide killing someone under tower early if you got decent stacks for the gold bonus if you have to burn flash? 2) I go Blood Thirster first, is it right? Been trying 3) What on earth to go second? Nearly everything feels good - Last Whisper, moar AD from another BF Sword item? 4) Do you even need a Shiv/Phantom Dancer due to Blood Rush and rediculous AD scaling? 5) Triforce yay or nay? Been going for it second if I start a heavy snowball. 6) Against AP assassins Banshee or Maw? I know a lot of people go youmuu's (i think second item) if they're winning lane. Good stats/value early on and the active lets you run people down even faster.

So it's not even better for Plat I players, the people it's supposed to benefit. I think borders are supposed to make people feel good about their accomplishments, and adding divisions will detract from that for not much benefit. I agree that it is something worth including for D5 -> D1, or maybe even just for D1. So being in the top 3/4% of all players is (almost) a mark of shame for you? You must be a glas half empty person. When I finished plat I in season 3 I was proud of it. Mostly because nearly all people I played this game with were way lower ranked. Sure I tried to get diamond and failed, but I also was only barely gold in season 2 and my improvement was reflected in the ranking. I read a platinum 1 badge not as "failed to get diamond" but as "got really close to diamond". That is an achievement and certainly not a failure.

I remember going from Silver 2 in S3 to Diamond 5 in S4. My motivation was just playing with better people and not a troll fest, and somewhere between high Plat and D5 MMR I realized that this was the place to be. Honestly if someone is in Plat 1, then they could very likely have made it to Diamond 5. The difference between Mid Plat1 and low D5 isn't very large, it's all about consistency.

I am sure if I apply myself more I can hit D5 on both accounts. But I lack time due to work and my desire to do more contents ( I haven't done much for months)

I've seen a few people get a Bilgewater for sustain and the small burst/slow for extra power and then IE-> whatever as an alternative. 2. I second ghostblade 2nd after your big AD item 3. Yes, because chaining critting for 1K dmg is hilarious 4. Triforce is bad, get ghostblade. 5. Banshee, Maw isn't that great on Draven IMO
