I'm not sure if it would have worked but it could have been worth a try maybe? idk The problem with Kassadin is that he doesn't fit into the League of Legends that their balance team has imagined. Kassadin's problem is he is tanky, mobile, and (because of his kit) needs to do good damage to make the kit make sense. This means, at some point of every game Kassadin will be overpowered, or he just won't make sense. Riot doesn't balance based on those kinds of champion curves, they explicitly disclaim that kind of curve at every point, even Kass's rework tried to bring him away from that, IMO it kinda did. They just need to kill his lategame uberness, or the champ won't fit the game, how they like it, because they sure as hell aren't going to let him have 10 CS at 7 minutes. i feel like the whole "doesn't fit into League of Legends is a bullshit argument. After the removal of scaling MR, Kassadin is really not tanky at all; he can feel hard to kill because Zhonyas is an item, but that's a problem with Zhonyas, not the champion itself. The mobility argument is also pretty bullshit because there are plenty of champions that can almost rival Kassadin's mobility. As for damage, I don't understand why Riot didn't go through with their idea of moving his power onto W. If Kassadin's poking power is too strong, give Q back its silence but nerf the shit out of the damage; I'm talking halving that shit. Then move the power onto W so Kassadin is forced to actually use his mobility to put himself in danger. If you're worried about bruiser Kassadin being a thing, make the ratios high, but keep the base damages really low. Kassadin is a very difficult to balance champion and he probably did need another round of nerfs. I can't speak for everyone, but personally I absolutely loathe this change because it's the harshest and laziest way for Riot to nerf him and also completely removes what makes him unique.
I also dislike the change because I think there should be a Kassadin-like champion in the game. I just dont think Riot will nerf his 1-5, and really his 1-9 in the way it seems you need to. I'm sure there is a way to make the R-W on a backline less impactful, but that is no longer preserving the Kassadin that people want anyways.
I like old Trist, Ryze, Kassadin, Poppy, etc. The problem is the inherent balance choices necessary are ones Riot won't pick. Like, what Kassadin nerfs, that leave him less than 10 CS behind in the average matchup, at lvls 6 and 9 would you propose?

Its easier said than done, but against that comp you gotta basically stay out of the fight until they're forced to blow their ulties.

Trying to lift myself back up to plat with Draven, lol. (that and i've come to terms with the fact I have no idea how to win anymore, lol. Dont need to shotcall from ADC.) No cleanse does not remove Zed's ult. That said QSS on Draven is nuts because an unhindered Draven is only ever like 3 axes away from teeing off on pretty much anyone. Heal is the best summoner for adcs anyways. Lol, was a good effort on my part, but after two games of crushing my lane, being 5k gold ahead of the rest of the game and proceeding to get liss ult into vi ult into rando top Lane srun ive decided I'm not good enough at adc to carry low Elo games from adc in this hyper mobility super single target lock down meta. Even with qss not enough get out of jail free cards, and unfortunately not enough peels. I really do like Draven though.
Play Ashe. Shit is freelo

Ashe dies just as much as Draven when cc gets thrown her way (at least Draven can lifesteal ridiculous amounts with Q to bruteforce his way if he survives the cc). I gotta buy something else on my smurf for when I end up playing AD, it's already my worst role, it's not much fun when your stack starts incontrollably feeding a bruiser or burst caster, and you're Ahri's plaything even unfed.

i was plat 4 last season so system working as intended i need a duo partner to stop me from doing clowny things though

I mean I know you're jesting, but I didn't expect you to actually enjoy League enough to play it more than goofing around with a stack in a few normals from time to time.

Not surprisingly, Veigar and Kassadin both now have sub-40% win rates. This is the first time I can remember where there are 3 champions with win rates below 40%. Zilean's is getting pretty close as well.

I'm impressed if they were able to actually make him worse.
Also what is with the notion that squishy ad carries are mandatory instead of some bruiser like j4 or wukong where you just kill bot through having more tank and damage. I get that having range is nice but vs a team of like 3 akali-type champs, a bruiser is better

Draven too hard, I get so caught up in catching axes that everything else, such as watching the map or dodging skillshots just fall by the wayside.

Jinx will die just as well as Ashe or Draven when greeted by an burst caster though.

If that's your concern you should be running j4/Leona every game or some op duo bruiser bot. It's not bad since adc is somewhat overrated.

First warding and sightstone discussion and now this? Huh.

Graves, Corki, Lucian, Caitlyn, Kalista, Tristana, Vayne all have some form of non-MS-based mobility on top of Ezreal. Varus, MF, Kog'Maw, Urgot, Ashe, Draven, Jinx do not. Sivir has spellshield, which can serve that purpose depending on context.
As an example, when LB runs at you with enough AP, you'll get 100-0'd if you can't at least dodge the chain (and the distortion if she uses it on top of you). It's considerably harder to do for the marksmen without dashes/blinks/a spellshield.
As far as I'm concerned I'm playing Graves when I have to play that role. I was just reacting to the "Ashe is freelo if you die to dives/cc lockdown as Draven" which is null since they have the same issues against dive/hard initiation and a team that won't peel hard for you (or use Crucible). Graves still dies fast if you don't stay behind because his passive doesn't protect from burst and he lacks range, but he's got a dash, Ashe doesn't, and he's got slightly better base stats for tankiness too (I just checked and she actually ends up with more armour than him, was surprised, he's a lot squishier than I thought).
