If you're wealthy enough, it's still worth a gamble to throw a million here and see if you can flip it for a few more a year or two down the road. Especially if you missed the boat on the ballooning of franchise valuations in traditional sports, and believe that esports is trending upward. Or in the case of an NBA team owner, one who saw/was part of the ballooning firsthand (which you can check out here, although since it's from last year, it doesn't have the Hawks being sold this year for 730 million). The class of prospective buyers is changing. | ||
