What runes should i buy during the rune sale? Im currently eyeing these:
HP Regen quints
HP/lvl yellows
Flat HP yellows
CDR quints
CDR/lvl blues (idk if flat CDR as well)
Flat Arpen reds ??
Flat Arpen quints ??
Currently i have 10 rune pages and i mostly have generic stuff (some outdated) like armor yellows and flat mr blues on my AP page (they're nice but are worthless in some matchups). The more interesting things i have are MS variants for solo lanes for like Irelia or a dedicated Akali page.
The only "current" rune setups i have are ADC ones and generic atkspeed quints jungle ones (with MR/lvl blues, meh).

I like Scaling HP as an AP vs an AP heavy team. Scaling CDR is also very interesting on some champs. Flat HP is good too (e.g. as a Supp and you want to be tankier). Those would be my 3 out of your list.

I don't think anyone runs cdr quints. That spot's normally taken by the cdr/lvl or flat cdr blues.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuck, just recently got out of a game thinking the ladder was reset when I started. For whatever reason it counted as a normal game. Was nice to "start off" on a win though.

If you wait a long while before playing ranked it won't have any affect on your MMR right? I quit trying to play this game for about 6 months now and don't feel like trying to get my mmr up again when I come back (eventually).

No it won't. Your rank will decay but your mmr won't. Like 90% sure I read that somewhere.
I'm not sure what happens during a reset though. I think those change your MMR since I often get matched with odd skill levels during resets.
Also do you think it's a good idea to lose your placements by playing champs you think are fun but not good, so you can have more than 10 good games later when you get placed at a lower division?
Nvm I can't do it. It sucks so much to lose lane.

Nah, I think placement games, especially early ones, are suuuuper swingy to where you end up.

Not really.Looking through the people I got matched with were from d5 to master and I was d2.Seems like riot didnt really reset the system that much compared to previous seasons.
Fuck I lied.After 5 losses I saw a few plats.So yeah seems reasonable.

It said on the S5 intro page that the placements won't be as counted as much as in previous seasons but it is still a strong factor in where you end up so I wouldn't flake out on it.

With my plat2 i went to placements and got full spectre from gold 5 to diamond 1.
So, that's kinda random.

Fizz changes seem actually pretty decent, he's def got very low kill pressure with ult on cd. I mean it's a nerf but after looking at the Kat changes I'm more than ok with these I just have some small reservations.
I don't like the removal of grievous wounds in a meta that will most likely be crowded with tanks, that is two heroes who've lost this effect in just the last two weeks, give us an item for non ap mages and I'll be less worried about it.
when the dfg effect starts is really important here, imo it should start if they are in the "water" and end with the shark or shortly after the shark (which is not 6 sec so we know it isn't this currently)
as an aside I'm not saying he's too nerfed I'm just pointing out some of the counter play this offers w/o going overboard on nerfs like they did with Kat, this makes Fizz weak to QSS and very weak to BV, so he shouldn't really be able to kill people he isn't ahead of or who haven't gone glass cannon.
oh also it will make it harder for him to last hit using the dot in early levels of his bad match ups, which sucks but I guess is ok, I'll probably get crucified for saying this but if they are nerfing his Q and W damage when ult isn't up I feel like he might need some love on E mana at ranks 1-3 or a lot of champions will be able to bully him 1-5

lol I love the molten shield change, I mean I have ALWAYS wished she could cast it on allies (yea it would be OP thats why I wish I could do it lol) to this is kinda a fun way to do it that is strong but not broken, I think.

Whenever I try to launch LoL, it creates the process for the launcher, I have the "League of Legends" symbol flashing across the screen, the... the process terminates without a word two seconds later.
I can't run the repair tool from the launcher since I can't launch the launcher to begin with, it stops before.
Didn't have a single issue the last time, my pc froze (I still had the skype convo sound and all, purely graphic issue that sometimes happens) so I hard rebooted it, and since I can't launch LoL.
Anyone got the same thing, or any idea on how to at least access the launcher?
I was suggested to go directly into LoL's folder and launch the lol.launcher.exe program but it didn't work. I did the whole "delete stuff from the most recent release folder", didn't work either.
I can get LoL to start by launching the .exe in the release/<version>/ folder, but get an immediate error regarding Maestro that closes it.

TBF, Fizz's ult was cherry on top. He only needed QWE to kill a squishy... the ult was more of an isolation tool.

kinda, I mean it's a side effect of Lich rush being the core build that Q does the most damage, because it is actually somewhat low even now on live.
this is more of a perception issue where people perceive Fizz as fed Fizz when not in game or theorizing about it, yes a full combo with lich only Q will do the most damage but you aren't going to die if the ult misses, (or you shouldn't)

people whine about shit that isn't actually op all the time.
if you die to a lich only QWE missed R you are either
a)farming poorly or are behind a trip to the shop
b)not returning damage
c)playing something off meta, sub par (which is fine, but if you lose lane because you are being a hipster that isn't your opponents fault)
d)getting greedy for farm at an unacceptable hp level.
