Even then it's a daunting task because you know the other regions have good games on occasion you'll want to watch. I really wanted to pay attention to China this year because of how woeful the international understanding of it is + tons of good Koreans(Kakao and Rookie, come back plz ;_;) but 24 games a week is so many. More than any 2 of the other regions combined unless Korea goes full Bo3 mode.
I guess I'll wait a couple weeks until the standings settle and then ignore games with solely bottom teams.

I plan to watch majority of Chinese and European games but for NA and KR I just chose few teams I like (Liquid, Tigers, Najin and Jin Air) and watch only their games. Also probably won't watch anything live and just go for vods to skip pauses.

Is that talkshow by travis with doublelift, Saint and Crumbz already canceled? the last episode I can find was from before iem san jose.

Something that helps out a lot against an eve jungle is warding her camps - it's the best way to figure out where she is and gets around her out of combat invisibility.

Really bored, so messed around with the ideas of having Skin variation of champion icons on LiquidLegends. Would love to have some feedback on how some of these icons look. (FYI, no staff has mentioned or signed off on any of these being a feature of the site, I was just bored on my day off, and thought this would be a cool idea).
Here are some that I quickly did without much thought. Pretty much took the vertical splash art from load screens, and resized them to 25% regardless of splash art, and just cropped the head out. + Show Spoiler +
Here's a set for Dynasty Ahri, all at different resize levels. Trying to gauge what people prefer in regards to how zoomed in they prefer the crop. As I do some more of these, I'll adjust resize levels for each splash to get the most similar head size results.
From 45%, to 35%, to 30%, to 25% + Show Spoiler +

Personally I'm a fan of somewhere around 35% and 30%. For a lot of the skins, the head doesn't change much (especially the face). So I liked the idea of skin variations being zoomed out a bit more versus the current icons we have, so we can see some more of the skin's flavor.

Top: Diana (Aatrox backup) Jungle: Diana (Aatrox backup) Mid: Diana (Karma backup) ADC: Ashe Support: Karma Focusing on that small champ pool to hopefully climb Elo quickly! For Diana I have been going RoA -> dcap/zhona -> zhona/dcap -> abyssal -> void with lucidty boots (I run scaling CDR quints and 5% from masteries) somewhere in the mix. I usually grab a seekers or negatron somewhere in between as well as needed. I am gonna try a super tanky build top lane someday too that starts RoA and has Sunfire/Omen/BVeil/Abyssal/Void/Liandries/Rylais/Zhona? Ionno. Still theorycrafting that one. But I basically wanna hit 40% CDR and don't worry about too much damage if my mid and adc can do the deeeps.
For the life of me I can't settle on a god damn champion. Thinking about Kayle. Maybe Cass. The only thing I'm sure of is Ashe ADC and Karma Support. But I hate bot lane sooo.

yep, really need at least 2 people to put down those deep wards. there's some inherent risk but it's also the best way to shut down eve

imo ashe can definitely work, but she just lacks a lot of damage compared to something like graves or corki. one of the most solid all around adc champs is caitlyn, if you don't main the role then she is really powerful while not being that difficult.

Yeah I feel most comfortable with Ashe. I might actually be undefeated with her haha. THERE ARE TOO MANY FUN CHAMPIONS TO PLAY. Oh well. Just keeping track of who I enjoy playing the most.
When season 5 officially begins (placement matches) I will pick a small pool and stick with it no matter what. I just gotta fuck around with different champs before then.

Ashe is a fantastic ADC and she does plenty of damage.

i'll reiterate that she is 100% viable, but she doesn't do plenty of damage. if you compare the base damage and scaling on her abilities to graves:
ashe: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Ashe
graves:http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Graves
you can't really compare them, graves has much higher burst than ashe. on top of that ashe doesn't have any steroids, so not only does graves have more burst but he has more sustained damage as well thanks to his E.
i'd say ashe is in the bottom tier of adcs damage wise even if her utility is amazing.

Let's compare ADCs; I found 16, I might've missed a couple. Ashe has:
-No steroids. -The lowest AD growth of every single ADC (2.85 vs. 3 - 3.5 for everyone else). -Base AD of 51.088, which places her at average (rank 7 of 16); field spans 49.04 - 54.208. -The highest AS growth at 4% (tied with Caitlyn), with the rest of the field going from 1% - 3.38%; the especially low AS growth champions are Jinx (1%), Sivir (1.6%), Corki (2.3%), Tristana (2.5%), KogMaw (2.65%), Draven (2.7%), Ezreal (2.8%), Graves (2.9%). As you'll note, every single one of these beyond Corki has huge attack speed steroids, ranging from 10% - 30% constantly (Kog'Maw) to 30% - 110% temporarily (Tristana) as examples. -Rank 5 of 16 for base AS at .665, with the field spanning .625 - .679.
With a lack of steroids and below average base stats in aggregate, it is incredibly misleading to say Ashe does "plenty of damage."
If you want to throw skills into the mix, Ashe has a single damaging ability, which is a relatively low CD, physical damage AoE spell with good scaling. However, it does not compare to any of the meta ADC's spells. I'm not gonna break down every single ADC's spells, but it is evident that Ashe's spells do elss damage than people like Corki, KogMaw, Ezreal, Draven, Graves, etc. Not to mention, again, the massive steroids that many other ADCs have on their spells to enhance auto-attacks, compared to Ashe's Q which only applies CC.

I mean she's decent pick for people who don't really play ADC's, since she offers a lot of utility, and has fairly smooth attack animation for last hitting in lane, but really she's pretty damn weak.
She gets caught out easily, especially due to mobility creep. Her only strong timing window is IE + Shiv (which btw just got nerfed), and even then it's pretty mediocre compared to other ADC's 2 item timing.

In raw numbers, Ashe has no steroids and very little scaling. But by the virtue of having a lot of slows from her kit she has more opportunities to autoattack. There is plenty of damage in her kit - it's just that most of them are hidden in her kit's utility.
|
for the record Trist is headed to sub 1.5 growth/lvl town if the pbe is to be belived, but I agree with the general point
on that note, in the original Riot news release they said her passive was being nerfed but s@20 has yet to post any numbers has anyone seen them?

that utility just isn't that great though. without a dash her slows just aren't very effective.
