Thoughts on Catalyst into ROA over Tear into ArchAngels on Cass?
I prefer the former because I think Cass doesn't need that much mana, she is already strong lategame, ROA helps early, and the extra tankiness is better

I've been going tear into rylai's because rylai's is really strong and I can get it faster than if I go RoA, but I haven't tried other builds enough to say what's better.

Swain's texture update really gutted his cool factor. Before his ulti form was scary as shit, now it's just a big bird.

^ tell me, i used to main vlad but i cant stand playing him anymore because how hard they butchered bloodlord skin with texture update, i paid almost 2k rp for it and once my favourite skin is one of the most hated one zzzzzz

whats the implication of the two smites? I can't see any difference, I rarely have 2 stacks, and even when I do, it means nothing. Maybe you can time them to have 2 important buffs from the jungle at a specific moment, or a buff + gank, but this is only viable for blue/red smites. Not sure at all whats the point of the double smite

They said it was so that the jungler wouldn't have to hold it in the mid to lategame for drag/baron. Now you can burn it on an enemy champ in the usual skirmish right before drag without looking like an idiot.

It's definitely a buff to stalkers and skirmishers, both of which have received previous nerfs. It's also kind of nice that when smite is off CD (1 stack) you're already building towards having your second stack ready, so you're not being inefficient in that sense (maybe skillcap lowered? New play potential though so idk), although the CD increase probably offsets this more often than not.

Yup, no swag. The smite thing is worse for your first clea, but could be a buff atfer that as long as you don't use smite -> back -> immediatly go to a camp.

Because the CD is higher, so you can't go Gromp (smite) -> Blue -> Raptors (smite) or Krugs (smite) -> Red -> Raptors (smite).

The cooldown's fifteen seconds higher but it starts generating a charge fifteen seconds before camps spawn. So first clear should be identical.

Why is it not possible anymore? On 4.21 you would smite at 1:55 and get you smite back at 2:55. On 5.1 you start getting your second charge at 1:40 so you get it at 2:55.

yeah, cause otherwise it would be pretty silly from Riot to buff certain junglers and nerf smite in the same patch.

It's worth noting that while your first and second smites are unaffected, your third and all subsequent smites come 15 seconds later each. Although given travel times this probably isn't an issue for anyone who can't infinitely jungle.
