Without a doubt, Maknoon has great showmanship. I think his showmanship defines him as a player. I am willing to go as far as to say that a lot of his decision-making in games comes down to his desire to appeal to his intended audience - essentially, he wants every game to be a Maknoon show. On certain levels, he definitely succeeded - especially against the lesser teams. His Poppy games for the online rounds were legendary. But I cannot help but to think that his playstyle is very selfish - pulling dangerous moves (e.g. goofing around when his team is ahead) for the sake of the "Maknoon show". I cannot help but to think that he is playing for the sake of building his own brand instead of leading his team to victory. I feel that Fusion is managed by a really smart businessman and Fusion has the right resources and people to succeed. But the team needs good players who are driven to win, not a mediocre player with self-serving interests.

Think it's time for him to give it up. Since wining OGN Winter 12-13, all he's done is play mediocre for Frost, then go to Brazil for a short time as a coach, then NA. I dunno, I don't want to see a former god continue playing badly, it hurts man.

Gone from the top level Korean teams, then from the B tier Korean teams, and now he wasn't able to play well in a 10th place match for NA teams. Sadly I can see that happening. He may come back and give it one more go in the LCS though.

To be honest... better now than later. How many more splits would MakNooN have had him even if Fusion had made LCS? I wouldn't have said more than 2 or 3. At least this way, Fusion can grow their fanbase from the ground up, over relying on MakNooN's legacy to sell merch and generate interest.

I'm really sad for him. Fusion with Maknoon would have been a must-watch during the LCS. Now we get boring Coast instead...

He should have stuck to what he was good at when the LCS spot is on the line. His Sion would have been way better than his Rumble was. I'm really sad for him. Fusion with Maknoon would have been a must-watch during the LCS. Now we get boring Coast instead... I think we can take consolation in that Coast will get murdered the entire split and most likely get relegated. At least Fusion probably would've been entertaining in their losses.
