MakNooN’s contribution to the team has been invaluable and his personality on and off the rift will be missed. His wealth of experience has been extremely valuable to the team and will continue to be drawn upon in his absence. MakNooN will be returning to Korea to spend time with his girlfriend and consider his options in professional League of Legends. He is also considering changing positions. Team Fusion wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
In the coming weeks, Team Fusion will be holding tryouts for his replacement. For more information or to apply contact veyloris@teamfusion.gg Source:

Agreed. To be honest he doesn't have to be an educational streamer like Nightblue, just needs to stream often and people will watch.

Maknoon has always been very animated though which is a huge boom to streaming.

I wonder what thiswill mean for their identity as a team. Any team with Maknoon is pretty much forced to be top-heavy, but I think Fusion will be better if they let Nien and Huhi be the carries.

Sad but not unexpected. Hopefully he finds something else to do, he's always an entertaining player to watch.

What a shame. I have no clue who'd they pick up. Seraph is on TDK and Flarez went to NME. I'd assume they're just gonna put Chunkyfresh in top. He's been playing Ranked 5's with the team.

Remember when he carried Champions teams? Good times.

He pulled his weight in every game, however the game's not in a state where you can carry alone.
Especially, not from the top lane. It's somewhat more plausible to carry from mid lane when you're on the right champions.

Anyway I disagree. He was one of the worse performers on an already underwhelming team. He did not look like LCS level. Of course it might be due to communication or motivation or whatever, but the reason doesnt really matter. It obviously did not work out.

Agreed. During the expansion tournament, Nien really showed that he had the potential to be a super strong carry, showing up nearly every game.

I'll be honest, ever since he became one of the biggest LoL streamer, he's mostly just rages while operating under the pretense of being "educational".

CLG needs a toplaner for week 1. Let Hotshot and Maknoon have a karaoke battle to decide who subs for ZionSpartan.

This calls for HotShotGG Cho'Gath.

I honestly can't say I'm too surprised, Maknoon is a mediocre top these days and only seemed to find his footing playing "cheese" I don't know why he doesn't stream as much.

That sucks, he was entertaining.

Hopefully a LCS team will pick him up...
