i also thought they were minor but I forgot about W mana cost and tbh its huge nerf, before u could abuse passive for sustain and free healing in lane now u cant do that anymore

I think it kinda did, but its irrelevant. My point mostly was that the nerfs were actually significant, and that those people who in the future will try to crow in a hypothetical situation where he returns (without buffs) will be wrong.

The mana cost on his W is actually a pretty big nerf. It has basically the same cooldown as his passive, so you could use it ~7 times per minute for free sustain. After the nerf, it would cost 210 mana per minute.

Regale me on how the top lane meta has changed from bruiser/tank/ap with zoning or dive potential and can survive a 2v1 after possibly aiding in a jungle buddy system.

Aggressive pushing and zoning 1-4 is much stronger due to the jungle changes. Damage based scaling has improved slightly due to Dragon changes. Ryze was nerfed, removing a significantly stronger AP-Tanky Mage from the toplane pool. Janna nerfs seem to have pushed her to a lower tier, removing a different displacement option from comps. Oh, and Gnar now exists.

Seriously, as Olaf I find myself hitting full build too fast. Glory, Bork, Warrior enchant, Visage, Frozen Heart, Boots as req. You clear the jungle like instantly and have no sticking problems unless it's like Blue Build Ezreal.

How do you not blow up with that build? My guess is that you go jungle item -> Glory -> BotRK -> Warrior, then resistance item depending on needs, but before that even building FH+Warmogs Olaf just exploded, and you're building less survivability than that (less HP/regen on Glory), and later.
