It's not the ONLY reason guys watch her, but there are definitely guys that wouldn't watch her if she was a guy.

Unless you're a girl that looks like a dude you will have at least some viewers strictly because you are a girl. Just the way it works.

Maybe qtpie should start wearing low cut shirts to cash in even more.

Yeah I guess I'm wrong on that one...
Atleast she's actually good at the games she plays. MLG champion in wow, DH champion in BLC. She also has a personality that isn't just "hurr durr please stop talking about my boobs guys".
@LaNague: I'd pay top dollar for that lol

Ha sure.
Honestly though. I only saw a limited amount of Hafu streaming, but I think she did not explicitly take advantage of her gender in making her stream popular. Yes she is a girl and yes she probably could not be this popular if she was a guy but you can't judge her for her gender which she has no control over (sorry for sounding like thorin)

To put it blunt.

Yeah exactly my point. Hafu is fine.

The argument "taking advantage of their gender" implies men aren't doing that by simply being gamers in the first place. Gaming culture is male-dominated to begin with and women start with a disadvantage. If they don't meaningfully differentiate themselves from men by "taking advantage of their gender" (however you want to define that), they will lag behind in viewership compared to an otherwise equally entertaining male streamer.

yeah, no way would I watch imaqtpie stream if he was a girl. he's totally playing off of the fact that he's a dude.
dl and qtpie taking advantage that guys can take off their shirts on twitch, while girls can't.

So much this. Theres not even a handful of "girl streamers" who dont just whack their tits off their webcam and act dumb. It drives me mad just watching them.
