- regi says hey, we're adding lustboy -official specifically says ok we'll start process please don't announce anything until you hear back from us -regi announces anyway -riot fines under this clause: 10.2.14 Non-Compliance. No Team Member may refuse or fail to apply the instructions or decisions of LCS officials.

If Regi dislikes the decision he is more than welcome to sue Riot. Actually they are probably Independent Contractors, and most OGN teams are not even that. Isn't there a showmatch in a non-riot tournament that was recently changed to an ARAM at riot's "Request"? They are probably too small beans for the DOJ to care, and TSM too small beans and dependent to contest. But these are exactly the same reasons that the NFL was afraid that the union would decertify, and the NBA was shitting their pants until Donald Sterling was declared mentally incompetent. Sterling and Al Davis won basically the same suits back in the 80s.

The way you frame a story and tell a story matters tremendously, and people who don't realize this are why some aspects of our society are so terrible. Take a look at these various tales of the facts, and see how they inspire such different reactions, even though they all convey the same facts and are mutually consistent: * Today Riot called me up and told me I was getting fined for something I did months ago. I didn't even do anything wrong. They said it had something to do with me getting a Korean support. I guess Riot wants to keep NALCS American. * TSM refuses to listen to LCS officials about roster procedures. When CLG broke the rules, they got banned for two years from major tournaments. When TSM breaks the rules, they just get a slap on the wrist. * Riot fined me for something that isn't in the rulebook. WTF? * TSM repeatedly and deliberately flouted direct orders from LCS officials regarding an illegal substitution. Yet in the end no punishment was handed out and the substitute was allowed. I bet Gambit wouldn't have gotten away with this. Forming judgments about situations from five-second sound bites and 140-character Tweets sums up so much of what is wrong in the world. It's why longform journalism is dying out in favor of Fox News-style sensationalism. People don't even care about what's actually happening, they just want to be mad. You get people that sum up the Israeli-Gaza situation as "Jews slaughtering children" or "Brown terrorists put missiles in schools" without any nuance or context. By comparison, shit like this is peanuts. But it's the same idea: your first instinct whenever you read a story like this must be, "Yes, but what am I not being told?" I said that Reginald's initial tweet was misleading and it was. If his tweet was: "When I told Riot that I was going to add Lustboy, they asked me to wait on announcing him until after behavior checks. I went ahead and announced him anyway before behavior checks were complete. They have now fined me for this." None of this drama would exist. Yeah, you'd have some reasonable debate over how much control Riot exerts over their scene, but everyone would immediately understand why he was fined (because he disobeyed an LCS order) instead of postulating conspiratard reasoning. Yo Numy you just fucking TOLD and yet you are responding to other posts instead so presumably you're feeling wrecked and dodging responsibility for posting unwarranted accusations in the fine tradition of TeamLiquid shitposting. Don't be a dodger

Don't be a dodger Huh, except my issue was with insulting a person by assuming they came to a conclusion without all the information. He's merely going on about something that no one here ever implied that they don't know already. I'll accept said TOLD when that happens in a satisfactory manner. Writing a wall of text on an issue that appears to be about another community doesn't really explain the original problem. Think it's a little ironic for going off at someone for being judgmental based on incomplete information when there was no indication of that in the first place then doing the exact same thing in corresponding replies. Anyway I think I know what went down anyway. GI is pretty pissed at media/reddit for jumping the gun based on one side of a story. So he sees someone linking the Regi thread and immediately goes on the offensive. People do weird things went they pissed. I see this and make the assumption that he's an apologist because I don't understand why someone would get so offensive over a link plus a lol comment. Gets more confusing when he gets more aggressive in follow up until finally he writes up about the issue with presenting information. It's a real issue and feels like a satisfactory end for me so I leave. That is until Yoroza runs away with no season 3 in sight wtf. Why do I watch these things. At the end of the day I was most likely out of line by responding in a way that merely aggravated the situation. Just don't like people throwing out insults for the sake of it.

I think calling someone a Riot Apologist is slightly more insulting than insinuating that kongoline jumped to conclusions if he is posting a reddit link with a soundbyte of a comment for it. The threshold for posting quality in LoL GD seems to have gotten lower than the main TL GD forums. Also, did Homura do something wrong again?

His laning phase is kind of garbage, especially against a ranged foe (but also could be that I am still not very good at him). But he feels really good in a teamfight. More importantly, I feel playing Garen has this "back to basics" kind of feeling. Fairly simple to play and nothing really cheesy - winning depends mostly on good decision making.

Those red buff ranged ganks. If you W-max he clears the jungle pretty damn fast even with the tank jangle item.

His laning seems meh but hes pretty beastly once he gets some items. Might be just me though. This is exactly how I feel. His laning phase feels really, really bad; but because of his W, once he builds tanky he is unstoppable in a teamfight. You can't kill him because he is too fucking tanky. He actually scales pretty well because of his W passive and his decent ratio on E. His W active is also very broken.

With stutterstep micro and E he kites the shit out of jungle camps. Wraiths and Wight only camps you take any damage at, and god help any jungler that tries to fight Mega Gnar. Most junglers dont even do Wight, and Wraiths hit like wet noodles. Also, start red, no Jungler can really fuck with you, except maybe like Red Start Lee, and probably Xin. But both of those dont see much play right now.

Do you just have to go in with 90% rage or is just autoing with red enough on it's own?
