Won basically every match for the last 3 or 4 weeks after a shitty start. Eventually you blue shell enough people to get into first.

I've visited their offices once for an interview to be an intern a few years back, but I didn't have any job experience or anything to show off at the time. Does anyone else here who's interviewed with them have any advice or information they could share? Aren't you like a PhD student in computer science? Pretty sure they don't look for "work experience", since it's an intern position and it's pretty obvious that you don't have anything. You do, however, have a wealth of knowledge. Show them that you are smart, knowledgeable, and a good problem solver who have insights on dealing with Riot's challenges and you will be fine. Also show them your research. Make sure you can describe your research in a way that a human resource guy with no knowledge in computer science can understand. Haha, nope, I just graduated with my BS in computer science and am out on a post-graduation internship at the moment, so I'm finally out hunting to line up my first 'real' job. When I applied to Riot a few years ago I was applying for an engineering internship position-- now I'd be looking for, y'know, an actual job there. Since I last interviewed there I've worked on enough cool research-y projects and had enough interesting jobs that I'm not worried about not having cool stuff to talk about at the interview-- my last interview with them, while long and tiring, I think went pretty well! I'm more concerned with getting that interview in the first place, since it took more than a little prodding to get that internship interview in the first place. Maybe that was just because it was their first year doing the whole intern thing and they weren't super organized, I dunno. Smash is in more of a designer/balance role though, right? He had a pretty huge amount of competitive experience in a bunch of games and had a bunch of writing material to show that he had done a lot of critical thinking on the subject.
