I'm moderately good at pointing out Koreans, largely because most of the Asian population in my area is Korean but I'm not to confidently I'd be able to point out Japanese people since I've only known 1 and she was half Irish(and smoking hot, omfg was the worst time in my life to be in a relationship.)

Well the best way I found to identify a japanese is probably their clothing, walking and behaviour.

You don't need to hear them talking, just seeing them on the street can be enough. I don't even need the face to guess a girl is japanese because of the seiza's consequences on legs.

i didn't identify any of the korean females correctly, ogn and gomtv with their kpop intermissions are creating unrealistic expectations of what korean chicks look like.
there are different archetypes within each country that are easier to identify than others, like probably everyone could identify a korean with high cheekbones like the guy from Lost.
