My aunt and uncle road tripped with their kids from NJ to Colorado(roughly half way) and I think I remember it taking them 3 or 4 days. | ||

Well Oddone is still on the team and he hasn't done anything in years. Sure he doesn't lose them games but he doesn't win them games either. | ||

Believe it has to due with the uncertainty as to what may happen when altitudes change and how your lungs function then. Anyways if his doctor warns against it, then he really shouldn't. | ||

easiest way to explain the flying is that the danger is not really in going up, but in going down agian after the flight. lung that's just been tacked back onto the ribs gets used to low air pressure, then down on earth it can be all like "I can't handle all this pressure anymore" and collapses again because fuck that. that's why there's a time restriction on flying, he has to wait for the lung to properly attach itself to the ribs again before he can. As always in medicine that's longer than STRICTLY necessary, but hey the doctor doesn't want to get sued. scuba diving is out because you get the same pressure difference only stronger AND when it collapses you're fucking underwater which is pretty bad news. | ||
