Oddone does struggle at times against stronger junglers, but as we saw at worlds, he played incredibly solid and showed that he can hold his own against elite level competition. Dyrus on the other hand just feeds and chokes when he plays against someone better than him. Oddone has been a super solid part of TSM since even before Season 1 and the reason why he'll be the last one to go is because he will do whatever the team needs him to do. He'll play any style, any champion. As long as the team requires him to play it, he'll put in the time and the effort to practice it and play it. No questions asked with that guy. He'll oblige regardless, which I think is what old TSM struggled with. Regi basically made him his bitch midlane, but now he gets free reign to do more across the map and he's really shown that he can play both farming junglers and ganking junglers very well. Dyrus is just a feeder and a choke artist.

I've probably only seen him at his worst (Worlds, all stars, vs C9), but is he actually very consistently good at anything that isn't a big event? Against everyone in NA (except balls). He either goes even in lane or wins it (cs difference, rarely kill difference in lane). TOO is weird. he's not spectacular in anyway or form, but he's never irrelevant in any meta (except maybe for a short while in s2, where saint was a farming god). I think he just brute forces his skill with solo queue.

That reputation came back in S2 when literally the only top laner in NA that had a shot against him was Voyboy and TSM won everything in NA because Dyrus/Regi-Prime would just dumpster people. It was also a time where he let himself have a deeper champion pool with diverse playstyles. For the past year or so he's been restricting his pool and playing a more passive lane, in the like of HSGG's "just don't lose" style. The issue with that is when you play to not lose, you don't win very often.

He's an extremely consistent "underperformer" which all that means to me is that he's performing at his level but people far overestimate his ability. Benching Xpecial was obviously needed for reasons that we aren't privy to so it's hard to say much.

He probably struck a sour note with Regi after last week's rape by C9 and probably went to blame his team or something even though let's be real everyone played like shit lol.

It's just less noticeable because he's not actively feeding like Dyrus, but rather missing every skillshot and being useless. Which would be extra silly because Xpecial is the only reason they even had a chance to suck against C9.

Why even bother saying it's "management" since all that means is he had some dispute with Reginald or Dan Dinh. It's really a poorly veiled excuse and I wonder what they're going to be doing by even benching him. What will motivate him to keep going if he can't motivate himself?

When you've been on TSM since Season 1 and basically have been one of the best NA supports for ages, it's very easy to get complacent. Maybe a little competition can kickdrive and motivate him to get his shit together. If the thought of losing your job doesn't motivate you, I don't know what can.

Remember last season when tsm was slumping and everyone just sat there tsking his shit and only xpecial spoke up until regi played the shotcaller/im yo boss card and made him cry. Him asking the team for "feedback" probably went down like when he benched chaox. People awkwardly playing with their phones not having the balls to say their opinion until he ultimately forcthem to say yes or no.e

Dyrus basically always does decent or well against bad teams/players and does really shit against anyone good. So he's pretty consistent in that regard.
