I am baffled why people don't take it more. I'm not a fan of Phasewalker. I liked it in season 3 but in season 4 I prefer the movespeed masteries. 1 point in movespeed makes it take about 1 second less to get from the fountain to an outer tower, so in terms of getting you back to lane faster they're equivalent. But the movespeed also helps you at every other part of the game too. A full second off of a 30 second journey is about 3.44% increase in movement speed. One point into movespeed masteries is 0.5% increase. It's even better if you're going mid, where the journey back is shorter and one flat second off counts for more.

Innox and Benny might get relegated and become free agents, although they're arguably worse or not much of an improvement over Nien. EU relegations are going to be happening soon. Not to mention CLG Maknoon. Doublelift said in his interview about Nien stepping down that CLG would likely look to EU or Asia for a replacement because (in Double's opinion) there's no top lane talent in NA.

Are there any decent top lane talent that isn't locked up in LCS in NA? Megazero I guess? But, the biggest issue is with CLG's budget they should be aiming for contending internationally, not just top NA team.

In patch 4.5, idiots started carrying hard with junglers they didn't know how to play, getting the team I wasn't on lots of wins. In patch 4.6, those same idiots are now feeding on those same junglers because they don't know how to play them, and it's getting the team I'm on losses. Seriously though, I feel like FF is a lot weaker now.

To quote Monte about the possibility of CLG Maknoon(or any player with weak English): "not while I'm coaching the team." Now I'm not sure where he actually is in terms of power on the team, but I'd assume the team respects his opinion quite a lot and wouldn't go polar opposite to such a strong statement. Europe is certainly a possibility(obviously).

Technically Innox, Zion, and Benny are all free agents because teams that are up for relegation are not considered LCS teams. I dunno if any of them would leave their teams for CLG or not and I also don't really think any of those three are an improvement over Nien. So yeah, CLG should try to pick up someone from EU. Asia would be cool but there aren't very many top talent players in Asia that also speak decent English (except Maknoon but I doubt that joke will ever become reality). For NA CLG has few choices. The beat choice is benny who will be a free agent, but I am a bit skeptical CLG is that desperate. Zionspartan can be a good choice as well... if he is willing to make the jump. I am not sure if he is willing to take the risks.

A long time ago there was a League of Legends player. He was a talented ADC who was eager to make a name for himself in the promising world of professional esports competition. and though he never had a huge break through, it was only in the early days of the scene, and he was confident he could make it. Though he steadily got better, his team was never able to score any impressive wins, and was on the whole largely inconsistent even against weak opposition - after all, it was a weak scene with no real good players. Eventually, the team shocked their fans with the announcement that he would be switched to top lane instead. The team was confident in his abilities to perform and carry the team to new heights, despite the many doubts among fans. For months, his performance was lackluster to say the least, often times feeding first blood in lane, losing towers early, and contributing largely to his team's losses. Fans were demoralized, and keyboard warriors began to flame him and blame all of the team's losses on this single player. From an outsider perspective, it was astonishing how much vitriol and abuse was hurled his way. What happened next? Is there a fairy tale story where a montage plays to Eye of the Tiger and the player commits everything and eventually becomes the best top laner in the world and carries his team to victory? Of course not. Eventually, management realized that he was truly holding the team back, and he was forced to step down from the team and away from the scene. There are no fairy tales, and if you're bad, you're bad, end of story, no ifs or buts. + Show Spoiler + Well, that is, if your name is Nientonsoh. If your name is Caomei and the team is World Elite the first scenario happens LOLOLOL
