Well, riot done fucked up by not offering the replay when their own rulebook says they're supposed to (immediately when the bug is reported, not after the game is done.)

The referee fucked up by not giving the correct ruling.

Riot then fucked up by countermanding the ref when their own rules say they can't do that.

Not a surprise everybody is pissed off.

Can someone remind me of some of the popular hypotheses as to why blue side wins more often on Summoner's Rift?

On top of my head, I got:

1. Camera angle. This may particularly make skillshot reliant champions harder to play on the red side.
2. Global objective position. Basically the layout for Dragon/Baron.
3. Blue/red buff positions. This may affect the ganking pattern of junglers.
4. Draft order.

Anything else?

It all has to do with gravity. You would think purple would have the advantage because they have gravity on there side. But actually blue fighting against it all game strengthens there legs and resolve so they win more.

Janna floats in the air, yet she seems to be one of the 10 least sensitive to blue/red advantage. Back to the drawing board!

Pretty much. Riot goofed, people should be and (for the most part ARE) pissed at riot.

Being pissed at the refs should not be a new concept.

She ignores gravity, thus her insensitivity to blue/red advantage.

Yes, therefore all the other hypotheses are invalid. It's so obvious in my eyes now.

Sufficiency,
can you use your data to compile to show which city(Noxus, Ionia, Demacia, Yordle city, Piltover,....) has the most win rate/ loss rate? Which city is the most popular, unpopular? Which one counters which one?

Yes, but I would need time to classify the champions and the results are not interesting =\

Especially when there are so many interesting things to look like (counters, synergies, blue/red advantage per champion, itemization, etc.)

On top of my head, I'd say Yordles have a huge edge, because there are: Heimer, Ziggs, Amumu, and Teemo who have been consistently leading in win rates. Rumble, Lulu, and Poppy are around 50% win rate right now so they are not dragging the rest of the Yordles down.

If I recall correctly though, not all Yordles belong to Yordle City

Just do fun quick data, don't worry about people criticize on it. People will always try to sound smart on the internet anyway regardless of what you do.

I want data to show that my Piltover is superior than others.

While you are at it, can you do something like the rise and fall of the cities pre and post patch?

Yeah donger is Piltover, Poppy is Demacia.

Who are the actual Bandle City champs? Isn't it just like Lulu, Tristana and Rumble?

Is there a list somewhere that has the origins of all the champions?

Select a city state and there's a chart at the bottom with league city-registered champions and then affiliated.

Just do the league city-states, you don't need to to other areas.
League City-States
Bandle City, Bilgewater, Demacia, Freljord, Ionia, Noxus, Piltover, Zaun
