Which city is the most popular, unpopular? Which one counters which one?
Yes, but I would need time to classify the champions and the results are not interesting =\ Especially when there are so many interesting things to look like (counters, synergies, blue/red advantage per champion, itemization, etc.) Just do fun quick data, don't worry about people criticize on it. People will always try to sound smart on the internet anyway regardless of what you do. I want data to show that my Piltover is superior than others. Is there a list somewhere that has the origins of all the champions? EDIT: found this: http://i.imgur.com/Kl8PSGy.jpgThat looks like way too much work http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/ValoranSelect a city state and there's a chart at the bottom with league city-registered champions and then affiliated.
Ewww.
Here's the data (95% of which are played in March 18th or later). http://pastebin.com/Qt1hBPKF Do it as you wish

25 champions left to buy....
And I've been playing this game since early 2011, you'd think I'd be able to keep up.

Yes, this has been reported many times. Blue side wins about 55% of the time.
It is more interesting to take a look at which champion, if any, is affected by blue/red advantage more. I see some differences (e.g. compare Rumble and Galio), but I am not 100% convinced. I am going to reanalyze this after I get more data (say 1mil+)

Cloud 9 HyperX COGnitive Gaming Denial Esports Team Dignitas SK Gaming SNIPE Team Coast Team SoloMid
The team list for this smite launch tournament, almost reads like an LCS lineup, interesting.

That Smite Lineup...I didnt know so many teams played that game. Pretty cool
|
So I started to pick Karthus against donger mid. Literally the easiest match up ever. Two q's will kill a turret at any lvl of the game and if he doesn't lvl his turrets he is super easy to gank/kill. Secondly, Karthus vs yasou, one of the hardest match ups ever...
Any thoughts? Am I alone in thinking this or were the Donger's I played against just really bad?
|
I thought Karthus tended to beat Yasuo since he can farm easily with Q, and Yasuo can't stop his damage with wind wall.
|
Well, when I played the math up, I could farm well semi ok, but it was basically a free farm lane for him as well since he could dodge every q with his dash

Thats something that is actually pretty intriguing.

I wonder, if Riot were to change it for a month say, so that purple side gets 1st pick instead of blue, if that would change that 55% figure.
|
Dig vs TSM on the smite tourney atm, if you are a dig fan you should watch. Gotta crush TSM in all games (plus the Dig guys in smite are pretty darn fun to watch tbh)
|
damn what is with heimer's damage holy crap i was not prepared
|
Dunno why its not like it used to be anyway, one side had first ban the other first pick
