jungle riven was super popular in kr challenger before and through ogn winter, and in ogn she was played more often in jungle than mid. she wasn't a comfort pick like nunu or lee sin - pro level junglers were clearly seeing enough merit in her to go out of their way to learn riven full tank is a strictly terrible way to build her and was only done once in ogn due to behind severely behind iirc; more common was 1-2 damage items into tank part of her value to a draft is that she fills 3 roles and has multiple build options in each role, which is a diversity that only kha (and lee sin/gragas...sort of not really) can match i'm not quite sure how impactful the riven nerfs will be, and it won't be until club masters starts in february that we'll get a good idea of where she stands now. personally, i still consider jungle riven a viable soloq pick, seeing as how her cc remains untouched, and she absolutely could carry games prior to the nerfs | ||

I think she is not bad per se. It is just that I don't see the point of playing her, because she has very few good match ups and her teamfight is mediocre. Her E is very good for an aoe team comp, but aoe comps are not doing that well (especially if she occupies the mid position already). Her roam is not that great either now after all the nerfs to her damage. | ||

They won the game off the next one, but blunders like that show inconsistent they are and it concerns me wrt their performances. They won't be able to beat top teams in EU LCS because even if they manage to get an early lead if they keep being prone to derps like that, good teams will be able to stall and make a comeback off the first that'll happen. It was already an issue with the initial LCS Alternate squad tho... Edit: that's a nice hat by one of the Brazilian players. | ||
