Competitively viable supports vary so much that the flexibility of a late pick offbeat adc are viable picks. Taric for example suck hard vs Thresh early game / early mid game that you can fit in Kog vs Jinx and Sivir. | ||

He crushes Lucian, Jinx, Sivir, Tristana, and Varus, and this is why he is still a viable pick. If you are a perfect Draven player and never drop an axe, you will still be doing massive damage while being extremely slippery. Blood Rush is the ultimate tool against the OP bruisers right now, and will allow you to kite in otherwise impossible situations. I'm guessing Draven just simply out trades Lucian, the only harass that's outside of Draven's trade range is Lucian's W. | ||

He's making an assumption based around top level Draven. Most Dravens do not have the skill to come close to winning all those matchups, and also very support dependent. The tier list also doesn't factor in current Lucian/Sivir nerfs. Honestly, I would say Varus is now one of the best soloQ ADCs. | ||
