Haven't been able to play him much in ARAM sadly, last 2 times I got him someone on the enemy team dodged (before the picks were revealed).
You don't even really need augment until around level 8-9. If you get it second back and start with mana/pen you will do just fine, you just won't "holy shit" chunk people at level 3 with your laser. But that isn't necessary. Your core of Sorc, Guise, Death is pretty quickly achieved and then void+death come later for full on deeps.
Maybe I am just a Viktor Savant (I am not) but i have lost fewer games as Viktor than any other champion in ARAM (though i don't have some of the stronger ones)

I also find Cassiopeia insane in Arams if she gets a slightly favourable team with her. She just starts 3v1 ing people after a while too.

Apparently Nightblue got an offer to replace Zuna as jungler on XG.GG while Xmithie moved to AD. It seems slightly counterlogic compared to just getting a new ADC because Xmithie is already one of the best junglers but well .... NA BABY

...why not find a replacement ADC when we have so many available.
Though if he legit replaces Zuna for Vulcun, the only thing stopping me from jumping ship from the Dig is their name.
Then we no longer have a Zuna tier for NA LCS tho.
tbh, looking forward I would probably say that yellowpete may be the weakest alongside Sneaky or Cop. But we'll have to see how Spring shapes up.

Annie was always strong, if anything her potential was finally being revealed by Tabe to the world. Same applies to Leona, was used to great effect by yolostar. The actual pool of champions for support haven't changed significantly, the pool is pretty much the same. The pick percentages might have changed a little bit. The only support that has actually seen play that wasn't seeing play pre3.14 is Karma.
To illustrate: In the whole OGN bracket stage Sona was picked exactly 2 times. In both those games Leona, Annie and Thresh were already banned or picked. Sona had in the first game (vs Blitzcrank) 0-3-13 and did ok. In the other game she was 1-6-8 (vs Leona) and was picked on in lane to snowball the botlane for SGO. Sona pretty much lost the early game on her own because she could not handle Mata's Leona. Even MonteCristo stated that this is why you do not pick Sona any more.
It is really a new development that teams focus their ban/pick to get the upper hand in the support battle. You could also see in the KTB vs SKT1K games that every single game at least 3 support champs were banned (usually Thresh, Leona, Annie). And out of all the Quarterfinal games Annie was banned or first picked in everyone but 3 (in which she was twice picked up in red side's first picks, so only in a single game she wasn't highest priority).
You have to acknowledge that the only reason for the likes of Nami and Alistar supports was that the better one's are banned or picked.
