On the other hand, when a guy talks to hackers he should be charged millions because that sounds totally reasonable.

Also, it wasn't him to hacked it, and not even the one who said to hack it (still talking about that club penguin). Yeah, top lawyers could still win this case easily, but I'm pretty sure these companies want the hackers heads on a stick first and most of all. I think top lawyers could make a case stating PL was told in advance the game he will try to play with will be hacked. It sounds ridiculous to me that someone could be sentenced to anything for this, but I've seen enough law shenanigans to believe something like this could happen. Still, it won't. At least, not by Disney.

To be fair, EA got hit, even though it was "uncalled for", since PL never even mentioned them. It should be a hacker rule, that no matter who you go out against, you should always fuck EA up. So, even if you go on a killing spree, at least throw some bucks to a charity case.

And yes the "kids" are dumb. They went public with it and now its only a matter of time until they get burned. This isnt small time stuff they went after.

So at that point he allready knew the "hacker" was legit and watched his stream. I dont know about Disney, but Valve could really mess him up if they want to, even if he was just being a comlete idiot instead of being malicious.

Like, even back in the msn days I remember random guys threatening me to hack my pc when I pissed them off, lol. You don't eally believe this stuff until it happens. At least, not by Disney. Also possible that he is in bed with them. In any case he is giving them what they want by giving them attention and a forum, while trying to create attention for himself. Win/win for hackers and PL, loss for everyone else. So yeah I hope he pays in some form.

Eh, he's going to get sued for damages, I have no doubts about it. It's pretty clear-cut, especially given he was making financial gains from cooperating (all those subs and self-promotion mang) in addition to effectively promoting and legitimizing the group, and, arguably, inciting them to shut down more games. The stream is basically a gold mine of evidence for any prosecutor for them to skewer PL alive, and I have no doubt they will.
