Krepo misses a lot of hooks because he's trying to set them up first. He does things like trying to hook through a dying minion to catch his opponent off guard. It does of course mean you just miss a bunch of them but it does make it waaaay harder for the opponent to dodge. He's also pretty good at adapting to players dodging preferences from what I've seen, watched him a few times where he's actively watching for how and which way they prefer to juke. Having said that yes EG's bot lane isn't the greatest, but all of Europe sucks at bot lane anyway.

Also on the earlier discussion. "Meta" is a fine way to refer to strategy. You have the actual rules of the game (right click to attack people, use skills, aquire money, buy items) and then you have the "game outside the game" which is the strategy level, how does my team interact with their team, what does each champion bring to my team.

Kind of doesnt look good for the quality of the gameplay designers.

Thinking about it, Heimer also got kind of a rework where they changed his towers and his skills not damaging turrets.

For the next week and a half I'm just going to ban Heimerdinger in ranked. I don't want to deal with his rocket waves and I certainly don't want me team picking him and failing hard.

Edit: I'm also surprised they still haven't nerfed Kayle. Q damage and slow is insanity and can absolutely trash strong chars like riven.

Fed something like 2-9-1 that Syndra mid (somehow died to her level 2 I dunno how what), still won the game because Vayne fed as hell and got a quadra when I suicided to laser-ult-zhonya's their whole team.
