We all saw how that worked out for CLG. They took a developing support player, and dropped him to develop chauster as a support again. Now he retires?? It's interesting to see CLG try new members, but they are always a step late. They should have forced chauster into a sub role last season. Now bigfatjiji is in a sub role for some reason? Again, they waste time by doing things like this. They lose time now developing a new jungle when jiji's jungling was progressing pretty well. They lost time for the aphromoo and doublelift lane as well. They keep swapping players around without actually having a long term goal. I don't fully understand why they keep doing things like this. when shit doesnt work, keep trying new things till something works trial by error! As opposed to trial by what?

Chauster was the player I respected the most for years. Doublelift is largely synonymous with CLG at this point, but nothing compares to jiji/Hotshot/Chauster. They were CLG to me. Now none of them will be starting. Next season will be very odd looking. So much of the old guard is gone. edit: I also think Chauster would be an incredible asset as an analyst.

This is a good thing imo, less grandfathering in NA means more incentive for amateur players to try hard, get good to be considered.

At least CLG is only 1 player away from being likable now. Hey I think Yiliang Peng is awesome. It's Doublelift I don't like. Hue hue. Dlift has a great story, but there is not much left of the guy who worked so hard to get off the streets. Apparently he also gave Thorin a sick interview that CLG quashed as well.

Hotshot and Regi are on at that list too (higher by some accords, lower by others), but you literally just named the CEOs and founders of the two most iconic League teams in existence. They being on/above his level doesn't make him not "one of the greatest and most influential players".

One day Chauster's perfect play ticked a bit too far and overflowed into perfect terrible play.
